You can of course play The Swords of Ditto alone, but it's clear this cartoonish adventure game is built for two. Playing in local co-op is the best way to experience this game, which is a mix of Zelda-esque action and rogue-lite elements. Tackling the randomised dungeons and thwarting the evil witch's plans is even more enjoyable with a friend in tow.

With each player assuming a different cog in an increasingly complicated criminal crusade, this is some of the most compelling co-op you’ll find on the PS4.
The Division 2 arguably enjoyed the best launch period of a looter shooter this generation, and although things have been a little rocky for Ubisoft's cover-based excursion since, it's still great fun with friends. A detailed, dense open world is the spine of The Division 2, and exploring it as a team can quickly become an addiction -- especially when you're being showered with loot. But it's the story and co-op specific missions that really set the game apart, offering up some fantastic firefights.
