Okay, so maybe it's a slow news day (now that we've said it, you're not allowed to bring it up in the comments), but we think this is a really cool detail all the same. Posting on Twitter, the official Cyberpunk 2077 account reveals that you'll get better and better with weapons that you use often. You'll see increased accuracy and reload speed with guns, for example. It doesn't sound too dissimilar to the kind of progression we're used to seeing in Elder Scrolls titles.
But that's not all. Taking things to the next level of immersion, CD Projekt Red says that your actual character animations will change as you become more proficient. The developer doesn't go into too much detail, but it sounds like your mastery will be reflected in the way that you handle your weaponry. Again, this could be very cool.
The more we hear about Cyberpunk 2077, the more it sounds like CD Projekt Red is really going all-in on making an absurdly intricate game. When you hear about details like this, you can't help but wonder just how deep we're going. Hopefully it all adds up to a great game when Cyberpunk 2077 launches in April next year.

That is actually super cool! Seems like they're going full RDR2 on this with the attention to detail. I wonder if the vehicles' balls will also be affected by the weather at this rate...
While a cool feature I'd call that a little overkill...or obsessive compulsive a tad lol. Maybe thats why this game has been in active, big team, development 4 plus years!
Slow news day huh xD. Cant wait for cyberpunk
I liked the way V gripped her trusty Vindicator in the gameplay demo. Nice feature.
I would trade every game I own to have this right now.
The small details matter. Link and mario’s Idle animations on the n64 for example elevated the titles to new highs.
This actually sounds really cool - thanks for sharing!
