The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency has shut up shop, and we’re starting to learn a little more about what it was working on. Founder David Jaffe – who directed the original God of War game – has posted on Twitter a pitch that the Drawn to Death developer was preparing pertaining to an Iron Man game for PlayStation VR.
According to the tweet, you’d be able to communicate directly with JARVIS using the headset’s microphone, while the action would take place from a first-person perspective using PlayStation Move wands. There’d also be a second screen experience where those playing on the television could take control of characters like War Machine and Captain America.
There’s no guarantee that this project would have ever got the greenlight: Marvel hadn’t yet been pitched on the project, and could have easily turned it down. Nevertheless, we could see a game like this working well – especially when Superman simulator Megaton Rainfall teased many of the same ideas, but failed to really come together.

This sounds absolutely amazing. This would be such a great game.
I respect your opinion on Megaton Rainfall but I so, SO disagree with it. Megaton Rainfall was a shock for me, it made me experience things I would never think of. I was litterally a Super-man, with abilities defying imagination. I flew into the void of space, felt so scared by this infinite, endless sea of stars... It was a metaphysical experience for me.
And this loneliness of this infinite space makes you feel at home only when you're on Earth, makes you WANT to protect it.
And the fights are so good ! Difficults, but not impossible. I was never expecting this amount of ideas in battles. And the final fight was... Well there is no words. It's so well written, so well tought to makes you feel in a special way (I won't spoil anything).
Despite its flaws from not being an AAA, I still consider to this day Megaton Rainfall an abolute masterpiece and the best thing I've ever played last year.
This would definitely need haptic gloves to work. Iron Man with Wands? I don't think so.
