The latest Japanese sales charts are in, with PES 2018: Pro Evolution Soccer wheeling off in celebration after scoring the top software spot. Konami's footie sim shifted close to 80,000 copies across both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Elsewhere, PS4 exclusive Uncharted: The Lost Legacy debuted in fourth place with 23,131 copies. Not a huge amount but we imagine most players purchased the standalone adventure digitally.
Sony's current-gen console itself did the usual numbers or thereabouts, moving around 25,000 units across both the standard model and the PS4 Pro.

I wish Samus Returns had charted higher but good to see UC:LL make a minor splash.
Good for PES. Hopefully the gap starts closing (at least a bit) between Fifa and PES. In my opinion the latter plays way better.
@fabisputza00 PES is always king in Japan.
So sad to see Samus Returns has flopped both in the UK and Japan (50k sales at most combined inc. Digital and thats being generous) since 8th in the UK is 4-6k at most.
And in the US its not even on the Amazon best sellers list. It wont make up what needs to be sold.
We got the series back so briefly but it just wont sell... there goes my favourite Ninty franchise again into the ether.
Its interesting to see how high the PS3 PES got though...
@Rudy_Manchego Yeah I was thinking that about Samus though isn't it traditionally more popular in the west anyway? Hope it comes to Switch!
@Dodoo It wasnt on the Amazon US bestsellers list nor did it sell anymore than 5k in the UK. Game bomed
@BLP_Software Damn that's not good. I did just check Amazon best sellers though and saw it at 11 so there could be hope yet!
Edit - and 19 for the special edition
@BLP_Software A new Metroid Prime has already been announced.
@Wesker They said the sales of Samus Returns determines the future of 2D Metroid
So many Switch evergreens. Maybe I should buy Metroid to show support. Yet I supported W101 and CN Steam...
Reading these comment makes me kind of feel like I just read a Nintendolife article. Very similar comments.
