Call of Duty’s matchmaking has always been lightning fast, but it looks like you may wish it was a bit slower in the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII. Activision’s revealed the new Headquarters feature set to debut in the historical shooter, and it’s basically a big social space where you can meet with other players – and even compete.
Looking at the trailer, there’ll be obstacle courses and shooting ranges for you to interact with – and you’ll even be able to watch live matches rather than, y’know, play yourself. Moreover, earlier in the year it was reported that you’ll earn items if you watch others open loot boxes. Blimey, man – why put yourself in the firing line when you can get trench foot with your friends instead?

Interesting concept. I was more impressed with the sound, and this is just coming off my tablet. I can't wait to hear it on the big screen.
You will also be able to test score streaks out as well. I am so hyped for this game. I can't wait for the beta in a few days.
Oh look now I can walk around while an 8 year-old calls me a ******* ****-eating ****** *******.
How awesome.
@Constable_What You know you can just mute them.
@Tasuki Where's the fun in that?
Only COD ive been interested in since black ops. Will be keeping an eye on this.
Watching people open loot boxes? Hahaha sounds terrible.
I had some guy asking to see my golden nugget on rocket league last week I did laugh for days. I understand swapping and collecting but watching someone else do it?
I aint got time for that!
Maybe we will be able to watch Twitch videos in game of players watching players play. Down the rabbit hole we go.
