E3 2017: Death of the Outsider Is a New Dishonored Adventure

Bethesda just announced Dishonored: Death of the Outsider at its short E3 showcase, and you can find the trailer embedded above.

At first thought to be DLC for Dishonored 2, the official blurb describes Death of the Outsider as "the next standalone adventure in the critically acclaimed Dishonored series". You play as Billie Lurk who reunites with Daud as they attempt to assassinate the enigmatic Outsider. There's not long to wait, by the way - it's coming to PS4 on the 15th of September this year. More details are thin on the ground at the moment, but this should come as great news for fans of Arkane's open-ended stab-em-ups.

Hell yeah dishonored 2 is one of the best games this gen and after finding out she was Billie lurk during 2 i and plenty of other people wanted an expansion playing as her and we got it.

Loved the first Dishonored, but I still haven't got round to playing Dishonored 2 yet. I own it and it's in my ever increasing waiting-to-be-played pile. I'm surprised this 3rd entry has come around so quick, but I'll definitely buy it...eventually ☺️

Sweet, I love the Dishonoured games so I'll be getting this one. I never played the DLC from the first game with Billie in it but she was an interesting character in Dishonoured 2.

@ApostateMage Man, you should play the two DLCs from the first game. In my opinion they are the best part of the whole series! (and of the better DLCs I've ever played) And seeing the description of this one it seems it might be the case again, as it features more interesting main character and premise.

EDIT. Somehow I missed the "standalone" part...it's getting a retail release! And here I was thinking I had to wait for the GOTY edition down the line.

This is something I vastly prefer about Bethesda's conferences than the others. They announce games on months away from the drop for the most part and while I can get hyped seeing something like Death Stranding for the first time, I'd prefer it not to likely be half a decade off when it gets announced.

For some reason I didn't even play 2 hours of Dishonored 2, even though I like it very much! Need to catch up!
Anyway, I digged the music in this trailer! AC4 4ever

Nice surprise after Dishonored 2 flopped I thought it would be the last we see of the series.

I'm still playing Dishonoured 2 at the moment and loving it (although I'm pretty sure it's far harder than the first game..)and seeing this trailer got me pretty excited!
