Dynasty Warriors 9 Official English Site Opens, Spills Loads of Info

And there it is. As promised, Koei Tecmo has officially unveiled Dynasty Warriors 9. The publisher's opened up both Japanese and English websites which feature an overview of the open world title and bunch of high resolution screenshots. Naturally, we've slapped said screenshots all over this article - the game's looking pretty good.

The English site outlines the title quite nicely: "For the first time in the series, the expansive land of China is shown on a single map with the introduction of an open world format for diverse progression through the game. The 'one vs. thousands' exhilarating action of the Warriors series and the beloved characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms tale are carried over, but the freedom through an open world stage provides a brand new Warriors experience."

Four characters are also detailed, with newcomer Cheng Pu hogging the spotlight. Veteran warriors Xiahou Dun and Guan Yu join series poster boy Zhao Yun as returning fighters.
