A slightly strange mix of role-playing, action, and exploration, One Piece: Unlimited World Red launched on PlayStation 3 and Vita back in 2014 - and now it's being ported to PlayStation 4 as One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition. The enhanced re-release will include all of the original's downloadable content, and it'll also pack in offline co-op for good measure.
The Deluxe Edition is due out in Japan on the 24th August, and although there's no word on a Western release yet, we don't see why Bandai Namco wouldn't bring it overseas - especially since the publisher trademarked 'Unlimited World' in Europe not too long ago.
As for the game itself, we quite enjoyed Unlimited World Red on PS3. As mentioned, it's a bit of a weird mix, but enjoyable combat and a cast of cool playable characters kept us entertained.

i got this on PS Vita and it was pretty good, i wouldn't mind a PS4 version
I've always thought that one piece is probably one of the best anime series for a full blown RPG game didn't knew there was something like this count me interested.
It's a bit forgettable. The combat just doesn't hold up. I did have fun and finished it though
@Bingoboyop One Piece and RPGs go way back, actually. Gameboy Color saw two tactical grid ones in the vein of Shining Force, although they never left Japan.
@nhSnork oh OK will definitely check them out, but I also kinda want a game set in opverse where the focus is not on the main cast but the world so a skyrim-esque game where you create your own character maybe set in Roger's era just my wishful thinking.
I really liked this game and logged the 90ish hours to get the Plat on the PS3 version. Overall really fun and good game.
I either bought this or the one before it on PS3, played it a few times and then forgot about it. I tried going back to it after a couple of weeks and had no idea what was going on. But thanks for the reminder I have a One Piece game to play, haven't been on my PS3s much lately, I should probably trade one in.
I got this on vita, was disappointing but I wasn't invested in the one piece series so maybe I'm the wrong audience.
