Push Rewind PS4 PlayStation 4 PS3 Vita 1

This was a big week for new releases, with both The Division and Hitman arriving on the PlayStation 4. Just like the rest of the press, we weren't able to get our hands on Ubisoft Massive's Manhattan-based shooter until launch day, so those waiting for a review can anticipate one once we've fully put it through its paces. You'll find some first impressions and a livestream below if you're looking for a little more info, though.

Hitman: Intro Pack - 8/10

At the end of the day, Hitman's buzzword is freedom. There are so many things to do – and so many ways to do them – that you'll never have to persevere to find something fun to do. It's all in front of you: a bloody, disturbing playground rife with opportunity. The trial and error gameplay brings back memories of older Hitman titles, while new ideas such as the excellent Escalation mode keep things fresh. Simply put, the Intro Pack is a great buy for old fans and new blood alike – there aren't many stealth games of this calibre.

Broforce - 7/10

Broforce is everything awesome about action films amplified to a satirical degree that will leave you grinning non-stop. The tight run and gun gameplay never outstays its welcome with a steady stream of fresh bros, locales, and challenges. Fine-tuned visuals and audio serve to make its patriotic bent all the more entertaining, and even though performance issues knock the game down a peg for now, there's not much else that keeps this guilty pleasure of a game from resounding triumphantly like fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Hands On: The Division's a Clinical But Compelling PS4 Shooter

Hit making is really, really hard. Pop stars like Katy Perry and Justin Bieber may very well have raw talent, but it's down to their respective record labels to extract that in order to turn them into superstars. And it takes a team of incredibly intelligent people – writers, stylists, producers, engineers, choreographers, marketers, and many more – to polish the final product that we see up on stage. This analogy may seem irrelevant, but it fits The Division like a rare leather glove, because this is a game that's clearly been assembled by a talented team working from the blueprints of a boardroom eager to happen upon the next big thing. And, as is the case with so many Ubisoft games, the end result is difficult to fault – even if it can feel a bit clinical at times.

Hardware Review: Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai - Stick Joy

Capcom may have slightly fumbled the launch of Street Fighter V, but there's no denying that the title is a formidable addition to the company's long and proud lineage in a genre that it has arguably dominated since the early 90s. However, as any truly dedicated player will tell you over and over, the interface you use to engage with this one-on-one blockbuster is of vital importance; the DualShock 4 holds up better than you might expect when it comes to pulling off Super Arts and countering incoming blows, but that segmented D-Pad shreds thumbs with worrying regularity. There's no doubt that if you really want to play Street Fighter V properly, you're going to have to invest in a decent controller – and for many, such products start and end with Japanese manufacturer Hori.
