You should know everything that there is to know about Project Morpheus by now β after all, we've been writing about it for the majority of the week. However, sometimes it's better to see things first hand. This brand new trailer for Sony's futuristic peripheral should introduce you to all of the device's major features, including its upgraded display and more. It's certainly shaping up to be a nifty piece of kit β but potentially expensive, too.

I am genuinely interested in seeing how the ps4 is going to be powerful enough to run a VR game. It's going to need to output 1080p in each eye at 120 frames per second... let's be honest here, the next gen consoles are having a hard time with 60 frames per second.. albeit the ps4 not as much as the xbox one but still quite a bit. Unless VR games are somehow not going to be as visually impressive as regular ps4 games.. which in that case kind of sucks.
Ah well I guess time will tell. I really hope they will be able to pull it off ! But I'm putting more of my VR eggs into the pc basket at the moment.
@mitcHELLspawn they have apparently found a way around it. They will insert an extra buffer frame between frames. I'm not sure what the tradeoff will be, but it will be interesting if it works. It would be a good idea to hold off from buying it until you have tried it for a few hours. But 2016 is going to be an exciting time for gamers!
@skinymike 2016? Nahh I'm going with 2015 Def picking up either oculus or steamVR when they release this year.. whichever one ends up being better ! I'm really excited for VR gaming.
