Never change

Zzzzz. Forget about the Green Day song Wake Me Up When September Ends, we're writing a new version, and it's called Wake Me Up When the UK Sales Charts Change. There are no surprises in this week's update, with Grand Theft Auto V, FIFA 15, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare all finishing at the top. Ubisoft trio Far Cry 4, The Crew, and Assassin's Creed Unity rounded out the top ten, alongside Minecraft, Destiny, and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

DriveClub slipped heavily down the charts into 21st position, perhaps signalling an end to its various retailer promotions. Meanwhile, Skylanders: Swap Force and Disney: Infinity both made a return to the top 40, following heavy discounts. And that's about it, really. Unfortunately, we had hoped that salvation would arrive in the form of Dying Light by the end of the month, but now that its physical release has been delayed, we're pretty much doomed. Boo!
