Persona 5 is a game that’s been on the tip of most gamers’ tongues for eons, but now there’s reason to believe that it could be right around the corner. Atlus’ admittedly troubled parent company Index Corporation registered a domain for the hotly anticipated follow-up on 25th June. Cue throngs of excited GIFs.
Of course, the registration of Persona5.jp doesn’t actually mean anything at all. Index Corporation may just be protecting its property from sinister Internet squatters. Should that not be the case, though, the big question is: which platform will the squeal-inducing sequel actually arrive on? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Persona always been PS exclusive, SMT main a mix but lately Nintendo only.
But thinking back to Catherine my money is on PS3 (i know P4G) though I would prefers it on vita.

It will probably be good but hopefully everyone will be a bit quieter about it.
Around the parts of the internet I go on no one ever shuts up about 3/4.
The people who own Atlus are struggling beyond badly and need the money. Releasing it on Vita alone would be a catastrophic mistake so I would put everything I own on it being either a 3DS exclusive or being out on every console available (bar PS4 and Xbox One).
Unless the rumours of Nintendo buying them turn out to be true...

I reckon it'll be on PS3. Both Persona 3 and 4 released late in the PS2's life. Hopefully we'll get an enhanced edition on PS4 in the future, maybe.
A cross-buy title on PS3 and Vita, though? That would be sweeeeeeet.

Yea, Persona is one of the best series I've ever played, so whatever platform it comes out on I'm getting it. But with the company struggling so badly, could we see it on PS3 and PS4? I know it seems like a stretch but they did released SMT Devil Survivor on DS and 3DS.. The 3DS version is barely different but they went for it anyway..
Why not all platforms? If cross-save was an option, I'd definitely buy it twice.
@ObviouslyAdachi haha. Your name doesn't give away that you're a persona fan at all... I just got through playing P4G for the second time. Possibly the best game I've ever played
@Cowboysfan-22 Well then it sounds like you haven't played Persona 3. You should buy it. P4 is a masterpiece, but P3 is just better.
@ObviouslyAdachi I actually played P3 a little while back and loved it. I just like P4 better because the levels don't look so similar and I just found myself more drawn to the characters. But they're both basically 1A and 1B... I've tried to find other games like them but nothing compares

Considering that Person 4 Arena arrived at PS3 and Xbox 360, I think this would be multiplat. However I would like a Vita version...
@rastamadeus I hope you are so wrong ! Persona is far better suited on the playstation platforms;) SMT just sucks on the 3DS:S

Can't wait! It probably will be on PS3, hopeful for a Vita release as well.

Vita needs this but Atlus needs money. So I PS3 for sure with Wii U and 3DS a possibility as well. No Xbox release though.
@Gamer83 Wii U, vita and ps3. I hate my 3ds for this sort of games. I have a 3dSXL but i cant imagine playing persona 4 golden on it.
@Sanquine yea I agree. Vita was the perfect platform for P4G so I wouldn't be surprised if P5 came out for vita. It would be smart because Sony is trying to push the vita along with the PS4 and this would be a great way to get more vitas into people's hands... But PS4 isn't out of the question either because you could always use the remote play or whatever they call it... I just don't want the vita to be a flop. I actually like it alot
