Mass Effect 3’s officially marking the transition into multiplatform series with a release day PlayStation Network release. Sony and BioWare’s announced that the upcoming sequel is available to pre-order from the PlayStation Store now.
Plump up for the digital release and you’ll scoop the exclusive M55 Argus rifle “to complement your in-game experience”. Community manager Jessica Merizan explained:
The Argus is a high-powered rifle and an excellent close-range weapon. Its bursts of fire ensure ammunition conservation during lengthy conflicts. Law-enforcement agencies across the Mass Effect galaxy are adopting the Argus as their standard rifle, as much for its intimidation factor as its suppression power.
Ordering from the PlayStation Store will also net you a special Mass Effect 3 theme. Anyone planning on picking up the title from the PSN?

I believe you get the Argus Rifle with any preorder, digital or physical? I think so anyway. Nevertheless it's nice they're not leaving the digital buyers out, and that theme will probably be very pretty.
Although, it better be, when you know the digital version is going to cost £59.99 or somewhere around there.
