We want to like Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, we really do.
The game sounds really cool. After all, we're big fans of SOCOM and enjoy the Resident Evil universe: it should be perfect. But something just seems off. Even this latest gameplay trailer — which features Resident Evil 3's Nemesis — can't get us excited.
Is there something wrong with us, or is this a common opinion?

The game is far too action oriented to instill a sense of horror. I'm sure it will be fun enough if you play with friends, but it definitely feels like a distant cousin of Left 4 Dead. Still though, Nemesis is one of the biggest bad guys in villain history and I can't wait to fight him again!
For some reason I was under the impression his was going to be FPS. Which I always thought was weird. I'm much more interested now that I see its 3rd person, but it really does seem a little unexciting. Maybe its just a rubbish advert?
