Sadly for those anticipating couch co-op, developer Bioware's squashed the speculation prematurely, stating that the game's multiplayer will be playable online only. For now, anyway. Producer Jesse Houston wouldn't rule out the inclusion somewhere down the line, stating that local mutliplayer support "is definitely on the table as something we might add".

The moral: keep pestering Bioware on its offical forums.
