Every consumer electronics company needs its own tablet computer on the market
Not one to buck the latest trends, a report on Bloomberg suggests Sony will release its long-rumoured tablet computer this summer. The report cites company CEO, Sir Howard Stringer, confirming as much to Japanese newspaper Nikkei.
The device will apparently run Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and will hit the US market first. Earlier reports hinted that the tablet (codenamed S1) would be a PlayStation Certified device like the Xperia Play.
