Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Trophy Roadmap: How to Get the Platinum

As with most games, you'll earn a good portion of the Trophies in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 by simply playing in a normal way. Assuming you're going for full completion, your starting point will likely be 3rd Time's the Charm and Thanks 4 the Memories, which task you with beating each tour 100%.

Where you'll need to really start paying attention is with the game's more grindy or specific Trophies, of which there are a fair few.

Perhaps the largest time sink of THPS 3 + 4 is Flying Solo, a Trophy that asks you to beat every skater's Solo Tour. In a nutshell, this means you must play the whole game through 35 times, once with every playable character.

As you make your way through this long-winded undertaking, you'll likely pop some other time-consuming Trophies, such as It's Not Too Grindy, Wall to Wall, and Fine Feathered Friends.

You may also manage some of the Challenge Trophies during this time; there are several Trophies awarded for completing specific sets of Challenges. Once you've done Flying Solo, mopping up this subset of trinkets will probably be a focus of your endgame.

Are There Any Missable Trophies in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4?

No, there are no missable Trophies in the game; you can unlock the whole set in any order without worry.

Are There Any Difficulty-Related Trophies in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4?

No, there aren't any Trophies in this game tethered to specific difficulty settings.

Do Assist Mods Affect Trophies in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4?

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 has a handful of Assist Mods you can toggle on and off in the settings. For the vast majority of the game's Trophy list, having these Assist Mods active does not disable unlocking Trophies.

However, there are two exceptions; Extra Ball and Unprecedented. These two Trophies specify that they will not unlock if you have any Assist Mods turned on.

I am the Pro Skater now

Platinum: Collect all Trophies.

As you'd expect, to get the Platinum Trophy, you need to first earn every other Trophy in the game.

OBMOC

Silver: Complete a COMBO goal, in reverse.

This Trophy is rewarded when you collect all the COMBO letters in a level, but in reverse order. This means you need to start at the 'O' and collect the string of letters, ending with the 'C'. For help finding All COMBO Letters Locations, see our guide.

You Look Like Tony Hawk

Bronze: Enter photo mode while skating as Tony Hawk.

This amusing Trophy is a simple one. Enter a stage playing as Tony Hawk, then go into Photo Mode and you'll pop this one. If you don't know How to Enter Photo Mode, check out our guide.

That Was a Nice One

Silver: Complete a speedrun without bailing.

The game features a Speedrun mode, in which you must complete all the basic goals of a level as fast as you can. It doesn't matter how long you take, but if you finish a stage's goals without bailing (failing to land a trick/combo), you'll get this Trophy.

There's More?

Silver: Unlock Pro Goals.

Once you've completed all the game's regular park goals, you'll unlock a new set called pro goals, and you'll get this Trophy. For help completing goals, check our walkthrough.

The Solo Acts Begin

Silver: Unlock Solo Tour.

After completing all the pro goals, you'll unlock Solo Tour, and you'll get this Trophy too.

Flying Solo

Gold: Complete every Solo Tour.

In Solo Tour, every skater has individual progress through the game. To get this Trophy, you must complete each skater's solo tour. In other words, you need to beat the game in Solo Tour mode 35 times.

Ok NOW You're Ready for the Skate Shop

Bronze: Free skate for five minutes.

Enter Free Skate mode and skate around for a total of five minutes, then end the run to pop this simple Trophy.

In It for the Long Haul

Bronze: Skitch any vehicle for 15 seconds.

Approach the back of any vehicle and begin a skitch. Hold this for a total of 15 seconds to nab this Trophy. This will be easier to do once you've improved your stats.

It's Not Too Grindy

Bronze: Successfully land 500 grinds.

You'll likely unlock this Trophy without thinking about it. Land a cumulative total of 500 grind tricks to nab it.

Wall to Wall

Bronze: Successfully perform 100 combos incorporating either a wallride or wallplant.

Similar to the above Trophy, this one will probably unlock itself as you progress through the game. You need to land a cumulative total of 100 combos that include a wallride or wallplant.

Do a Kickflip!

Bronze: Perform a combo worth 7,500 or more, exclusively using flip tricks.

This Trophy tasks you with successfully landing a combo worth at least 7,500 points, but you can only use flip tricks — no grabs, grinds, or lip tricks. Combo extenders like reverts and manuals are allowed, though.

900 the 900

Silver: Perform Tony Hawk's 900 with a 900 spin.

Tony Hawk's signature special trick is the 900. Either play as him or equip the move to your chosen skater, then enter a stage, pull off the 900 and then spin 900 degrees. You need a huge amount of air time to do this.

Thanks 4 the Memories

Gold: Complete every goal in THPS4 and earn all gold medals.

For this Trophy, you need to 100% complete the THPS4 career. This involves beating every goal in every level, and earning gold medals in all the competition stages. See our walkthrough for more info.

3rd Time's the Charm

Gold: Complete every goal in THPS3 and earn all gold medals.

Kickflip the Abyss

Bronze: Perform a Kickflip in the Abyss.

Tilt

Silver: Unlock Pinball.

This Trophy is awarded to you upon unlocking Pinball. To do so, you need to beat all preceding levels in the THPS4 tour.

Skater Challenger

Silver: Complete every Skater Challenge.

Complete every challenge in the Skater category to get this Trophy.

Omelette du Fromage

Bronze: Try out all the different filters in photo mode.

Tricks Challenger

Silver: Complete every Trick Challenge.

Complete every challenge in the Trick category to get this Trophy.

THPS3 Challenger

Silver: Complete every THPS3 Challenge.

Complete every challenge in the THPS3 category to get this Trophy.

THPS4 Challenger

Silver: Complete every THPS4 Challenge.

Complete every challenge in the THPS4 category to get this Trophy.

Expert Challenger

Silver: Complete every Expert Challenge.

Complete every challenge in the Expert category to get this Trophy.

Fine Feathered Friends

Bronze: Scare 120 clusters of birds.

Across various levels in the game are small flocks of birds which, if you skate into them, will disperse. Do this 120 times throughout the game to get this Trophy.

Wizard Mode

Bronze: Complete "Wallplant the Multiball Targets" in Pinball.

In the level Pinball, simply complete the goal Wallplant the Multiball Targets to get this Trophy.

Final Form

Silver: Collect all the Stat Points.

This Trophy requires you to find every Stat Point in the game. For help finding All Stat Points Locations, refer to our guide.

Versatile

Silver: Land a 150,000+ point combo including a Flip, Grab, Manual, Wall, Grind and Special trick.

Perform one combo that includes at least one flip, grab, manual, wallplant/wallride, grind, and special, and is worth at least 150,000 points. It sounds harder than it is, and you'll probably get this through normal play.

Extra Ball

Bronze: Without Assist Mods, score 1,000,000 or over in Pinball.

In the level Pinball, get a total score of at least 1 million points. You're not allowed to use any Assist Mods for this Trophy.

Unprecedented

Gold: Without Assist Mods, earn a score of 10,000,000 in any park in a 2 minute session or single combo.

For this Trophy, you must get a total score of at least 10 million points in either a 2-minute run or one single combo. Again, Assist Mods will disable this Trophy.

Taxi! Taxi!

Bronze: Skitch twice in a single Combo.

Pull off two skitches in one combo to nab this Trophy.

Tutorialized

Bronze: Complete the skating tutorial.

Easy Trophy time — complete all lessons in the tutorial.

Multiplication

Silver: Land a combo of at least 75 tricks.

Successfully land a combo that includes at least 75 tricks to get this Trophy. In other words, get a x75 multiplier or higher before you end the combo.

Chaos Reigns

Bronze: Destroy 500 breakable objects.

The game has lots of breakable objects peppered throughout each level; destroy a total of 500 of them to get this Trophy.
