- Iron Giant spins a beat-up hot rod around himself, BLOCKING PROJECTILES. He can move and FLY while attacking, and the direction of his movement will change the angle the hot rod spins. In RAGE MODE, Iron Giant summons an electrical strike up his body. COOLDOWN applies to the electrical strike.
Cannonball / Aerial Laser Blast

- Iron Giant jumps into the air and then cannonballs downward. Before he jumps, he can move an aimer on the ground that will control where his cannonball lands. In RAGE MODE, Iron Giant fires a downward laser blast PROJECTILE. Hold input to delay firing.

Craterball!
- Input

- Similar to ground, but Iron Giant does not aim and transitions immediately into the downward cannonball.
Passive Abilities
- Iron Giant does not have a double jump, but will instead FLY when holding jump. FLYING activates his rocket boots, propelling him upward and consuming FUEL.
- Iron Giant will eat any ITEM he picks up to give himself another BOLT for his neutral special. This includes his scrap and art.
- Inputting neutral special or neutral dodge while in HITSTUN will discharge a burst of electricity, damaging and knocking back all enemies near his body. COOLDOWN applies.
- When Iron Giant deals DAMAGE his RAGE meter will fill. When full, he can transition into RAGE MODE, dramatically altering many of his attacks, giving him GRAY HEALTH. Iron Giant will exit RAGE MODE after a period of time or when his GRAY HEALTH is depleted. Allies can press their Normal Neutral input to pilot Iron Giant while he is in RAGE MODE then aim his tentacles and fire light laser PROJECTILES with normal input and a heavy lazer PROJECTILE with special input.
How Do You Win as Iron Giant in MultiVersus?
Iron Giant is a complex, complicated character — and arguably one of the most difficult to get to grips with in MultiVersus. Due to his enormous size, you're going to struggle to avoid attacks, and are going to have to tank a lot of damage. Fortunately, the impressive weight of the character can make him tough to ringout, so you will be able to survive some quite high percentages.
There are basically two move-sets to learn here, with almost all of Iron Giants attacks and specials changing when he initiates Rage Mode. You can trigger this by accumulating damage. We'd recommend staying on the ground as much as possible and using your melees to do damage. You might want to consider adding Wildcat Brawler to your Perk mix to buff your damage output. Of course, there are times when you'll need to come off the ground, so add Afterburners to deal additional damage this way.
Once you've built up enough damage to launch Rage Mode, consider coordinating an offensive with a teammate as this will make you immune to knockback. As the character's Rage Mode move-set is particularly projectile heavy, consider adding a perk like Deadshot to bolster your damage output while you have Rage Mode enabled. You can really stack up some damage here, and remember a teammate can help pilot the projectiles. Manage your fuel carefully, and then use Cannonball as a deadly finisher once your opponents are weak and susceptible to ringouts.
