Metal Gear Solid Delta: Dremuchij South Walkthrough - Weapons, Kerotans, GA-KOs, Food

There are 2 Weapons, 2 Kerotans, 2 GA-KOs, and 7 Food items to find in Dremuchij South.

Below you'll find all their locations, complete with screenshots and step-by-step instructions, as part of our Metal Gear Solid Delta walkthrough.

Weapon #1: Survival Knife

• The Survival Knife is automatically part of your inventory at the very start of the game

Weapon #2: MK22

• The MK22 is added to your inventory when you get your backpack out of the tree

Kerotan #1

• Once you have your backpack, return to the starting area underneath the tree log
• Face east, and go up the sloped path on your left
• This will bring you to a clearing overlooking the tree branch you climbed to get your backpack
• From here, look to the left on top of the rock to find the Kerotan

GA-KO #1

• The first GA-KO is positioned directly next to Kerotan #1

Food #1: Russian Oyster Mushroom

• On a tree stump to the immediate left of your starting position

Food #2: Siberian Inkcap

• At the base of the trees, just to the right of the tree log you have to crawl under to get your backpack

Food #3: Russian False Mango

• Next to the tree you collected your backpack from, look up
• Hanging from the tree branches to the left are Russian False Mangos you can shoot down and collect

Food #4: Reticulated Python

• From the starting position, you can go left and climb over a tree log
• In this area, you'll find the Reticulated Python on the ground

Food #5: Giant Anaconda

• On the ground immediately after the tree you climbed to get the backpack, you should find a Giant Anaconda

Food #6: Tree Frog

• In the small starting area, search the floor for a Tree Frog slowly hopping around
• You'll be able to hear its ribbits, and it'll most likely be in the tall grass near the tree log you crawl under

The following Collectibles are only available once you return to this area in Operation Snake Eater. They are not available in the introductory Virtuous Mission.

Food #7: Markhor

• Go back to the starting position of the entire game to find a Markhor roaming around the area
• Shoot it to get two lots of Markhor meat

GA-KO #2

• From the same starting position, look out across the jungle south of you
• On the cliff to the right, you'll find the GA-KO

Kerotan #2

• From the same starting position, climb over the tree log to the west to enter a small area with Chaff Grenades in
• On top of the rock surrounding you, slightly to the right of the view you have when you enter, is the Kerotan
