To change the difficulty in God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla at any time, press the Options button and select Settings > Gameplay > Difficulty. You can choose from the following options:

  • Will: Lowest difficulty.
  • Resolve: Recommended starting difficulty. +10% increased rewards.
  • Courage: Increased difficulty. +20% increased rewards.
  • Prowess: Greatly increased difficulty. +30% increased rewards.
  • Mastery: Highest difficulty. +40% increased rewards.
