Ghost of Tsushima: Where to Find Wax Wood

Wax Wood is reasonably easy to gather once you know where it tends to grow. While there are points out in the open world where you'll be able to scoop some up — usually hard to reach locations that require some platforming — the best place to look is near Shinto Shrines.

Wax Wood often grows around the shrines themselves, so be sure to check the surrounding area once you've made your way to the top. You also get some Wax Wood for actually praying at a Shinto Shrine. It's usually a bonus reward for completing this locations.
