Final Fantasy 16: Streets of Madness Walkthrough

Streets of Madness is a Main Quest in Final Fantasy 16, following on from Brotherhood. As part of our Final Fantasy 16 guide, we're going to explain everything you need to know about Streets of Madness.

Streets of Madness: Walkthrough

Streets of Madness begins immediately after you finish Brotherhood and watch the cutscene.

Proceed forward through the city. Just ahead are some Akashic soldiers to defeat. Squeeze through the gate ahead and continue.

Watch the cutscene. It's time for a boss fight, this time against Behemoth.

Behemoth Spoils:

• 2x Behemoth Shackle
• 40x Wyrrite
• 20x Sharp Fang
• 4,000 EXP
• 250 Ability Points
• 4,000 gil

Once done, watch the cutscene. Proceed forward and fend off more enemies, then go through the gap in the gate. You'll be in a fight with more Akashic baddies.

Next, open the next gate. There are left and right paths ahead, both of which have enemies to defeat. Both lead to the same place, though. When the enemies are done, go through the next gate.

Yet more enemies! When they're down, continue through the next gate. Watch the brief cutscene, then continue forward. Fight through more enemy groups as you proceed through the castle.

You'll be up against an Akashic coeurl, so defeat it and the other enemies.

Enemies Spoils:

• 10x Bloody Hide
• 30x Magicked Ash
• 4x Meteorite
• 824 EXP
• 60 Ability Points
• 2,000 gil

Once it's down, proceed through another gate and push on. Defeat the next pack of enemies and continue through the city. Would you believe it, more enemies await. Use the lever to open the large gate. Watch the cutscene.

Defeat this next batch of enemies, then defeat the Akashic Warlord and his allies.

Enemies Spoils:

• 20x Sharp Fang
• 20x Steelsilk
• 35x Magicked Ash
• 11,000 EXP
• 470 Ability Points
• 3,200 gil

After that is a cutscene. Once done, you'll have the opportunity to buy items and craft gear with Goetz. When you're ready to continue, speak to Joshua. Watch the cutscene.

Proceed forward. You'll soon come to another cutscene. Keep going through the area, up the stairs.

After another cutscene, keep going forwards. Watch the next cutscene. Keep going up through the area.

Watch the next cutscene. Now, it's time to fight Ultima.

Ultima Spoils:

• 1x The Pull of Darkness (Dancing Steel)
• 10x Sharp Fang
• 10x Steelsilk
• 85x Magicked Ash
• 15,000 EXP
• 650 Ability Points
• 7,000 gil

Watch the cutscene. Afterwards, return to the Hideaway to end the quest.

Objective Log

• Continue to the inner sanctum
• Slay the Behemoth
• Continue through the capital
• Speak with Joshua
• Find a way out of the darkness
• Slay Ultima
• Return to the hideaway
