Main Quest

Clive returns to the hideaway and sets about spreading the glad tidings that Hugo Kupka — the man who crushed their former home and saw many of their friends slaughtered — is no more. Those who lost their lives that fateful night are avenged, and those lucky enough to survive can now live without fear that he might one day return.

Out of the Shadow: Walkthrough

Out of the Shadow begins immediately after you fast travel back to The Hideaway at the end of the last quest.

Find and speak to Otto, which starts a cutscene. Next, talk to Vivian. When that's done, you'll need to go and talk to Charon, Blackthorne, and Harpocrates in their usual spots.

Return to Otto and speak to him. Next up is Mid — go down to her workshop and talk to her. She'll give you instructions to talk to Blackthorne, so head back over to him. Talking to him triggers a sub-quest called Letting Off Steam I, which you'll need to complete in order to continue. Click the link for more info.

Once that's done, go back to Mid and talk to her. Next, speak to her assistant, Helena. This will trigger another sub-quest — Letting Off Steam II — which you'll need to complete next. Click the link for more info.

With that dealt with, speak to Mid once more. She'll tell you to next go and speak to Harpocrates. This will begin one last sub-quest named Letting Off Steam III, which is another mandatory excursion. Hit the link for more info.

After that, speak once more to Mid. Watch the cutscene, then speak to Mid one more time. Next, speak to Otto. Head down the steps and talk to Obolus. Watch the cutscene.

Fast travel to Cid's Legacy, watch another cutscene, then fast travel to Laetny's Cleft to end the quest.
