Of Gods and Men begins immediately after you fast travel to Origin. It opens with a cutscene, followed by a cinematic clash between Ifrit, Phoenix, and Bahamut versus Ultima Prime.

Watch the next cutscene. When you gain control, walk forwards into the core. Another cutscene awaits.

Afterwards, it's time for the real fight with Ultima.

When the battle is won, watch the preceding cutscenes, and the quest is over.
