DOOM: The Dark Ages: Spire of Nerathul Walkthrough 1

There are 12 Collectibles to find in Spire of Nerathul. There are 3 Rubies, 2 Wraithstones, 2 Demonic Essence, 2 Codex Entries, 2 Toys, and 1 Weapon Skin. Below you will find all collectibles locations in Spire of Nerathul in the order you should encounter them.

Wraithstone #1

  • When you gain control of the dragon, fly towards the mountain in front of you
  • There's a large demon you can kill to create a Landing Zone here
  • Defeat the enemies that spawn, then take the Wraithstone

Ruby #1

  • When you gain control of the dragon, view your map from the side and notice how the three objective markers go from top to bottom
  • This Ruby is found in the area that the top objective marker leads you to
  • After the large enemy encounter outside, enter the building and defeat the enemies inside
  • The shields will then drop and you can get the Ruby

Toy #1: Arachnotron

  • In the middle objective area, use the boost pad to enter the shipwreck
  • Look for wooden boards you can smash through with the shield
  • On the other side is the Toy

Ruby #2

  • Right after collecting Toy #1, go to the back of the shipwreck
  • Here you'll find a room full of red barrels and some invisible demons
  • Having killed them, go back to the sloped entrance of this room and look up to the right
  • There's a chain you can break with your shield, which drops onto the pressure pad in the room
  • This opens a gate to a boost pad that launches you to a path of Gold and then the Ruby on your right

Demonic Essence #1: Health

  • After the shipwreck area, you'll drop down a series of platforms and paths as you work your way to a Stasis Emitter
  • Along the way will be an optional Gore Nest
  • Defeat the Leader it spawns to get the Demonic Essence

Codex Entry #1: Spire of Nerathul

  • Shortly after the Gore Nest, you'll get into another combat arena
  • Once it's over, go in the opposite direction of the objective marker down the slope
  • You should find a green Shield Recall Jump statue on a pillar down here to the right
  • Drop down here to find the Codex Entry

Weapon Skin #1: Nightmare (Grenade Launcher)

  • When you're heading for the final objective marker at the very bottom of the main area aboard the dragon, find the Landing Zone you need, but don't actually land yet
  • Instead, look for a large archway next to the Landing Zone you can continue flying through
  • Fly through the tunnel to find another secret Landing Zone
  • Go through the portal and defeat all the enemies in your path to find the Weapon Skin at the end

Wraithstone #2

  • This second Wraithstone is placed directly next to Weapon Skin #1, so follow the steps above to get it

Ruby #3

  • In the area accessed at the bottom objective marker where the new Shield Rune is, jump into the water to your right
  • As you look at the map, there's a part of it that protrudes out to the right, and here you'll find an underwater tunnel where the Gold icon is
  • Swim through it and you'll exit into the room with the Ruby

Toy #2: Revenant

  • When your main objective is to obtain the B.F.C, follow the marker into the tower after landing
  • Use the boost pad inside to reach the level above, then jump over the edge where the right set of waterfalls is
  • On the platform below, you'll find the Toy

Demonic Essence #2: Ammo

  • In the combat encounter after picking up Toy #2, defeat the Leader to get its Demonic Essence

Codex Entry #2: Serrat

  • On your way to releasing the Old One, you'll need to take an elevator up
  • This Codex Entry is just off to the side, and is almost unmissable
