Death Stranding Director's Cut: How to Use the Cargo Catapult

Once you have unlocked the Cargo Catapult, deploying and using one is very straightforward. To set down a Cargo Catapult, you simply need a PCC (Lv. 2). To build one costs 1100 of the Chiral Network bandwidth. As with other structures, equip the PCC (Lv. 2) and hold D-Pad Down to select the Cargo Catapult. Then, hold L2 to select a position and R2 to confirm the build.

Once it's constructed, press Square next to the Cargo Catapult to select cargo to put into the cannon. Once you're happy with your selection, confirm with X. With the right stick, you then aim the Cargo Catapult, and launch the load with R2.

Once the load is in the air, the camera follows it and you must decide when to deploy the parachute with Square. The cargo will then drift to the ground, and control will return to Sam.
