5. Street Fighter 6 (PS5)
Street Fighter 6 puts the series back on the map. Following the comparably dismal launch of Street Fighter V, this iteration of Capcom's fighter is the most robust package yet, catering to both competitive and casual players brilliantly. New mechanics add more strategy to fights, different control schemes level the playing field for newcomers, and the online play is seriously smooth. Add to that the incredibly high-effort single-player World Tour mode, in-depth tutorials, a multitude of fun ways to fight, and a vibrant roster of familiar and new characters, and you have one of the best fighting games in recent memory.
4. Resident Evil Village (PS5)
For a franchise that has no shortage of experimental entries in its back catalogue, Capcom knows how to make a traditional Biohazard campaign when it wants to. Resident Evil Village adopts the first-person perspective of Resident Evil 7, but this time offers a confident and familiar romp through a sinister Romanian village. With an eclectic cast of curious – but occasionally underdeveloped – villains, the true character of this sequel is the setting itself, which harbours countless secrets and some truly memorable moments. And for those rocking a PSVR2, the full game is playable in virtual reality, which really ratchets up the intensity with overhauled controls and impressive visuals.
3. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (PS5)
After a few missteps, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard brings the series back to its survival horror roots while entering new territory at the same time. Played in first-person, we're introduced to Ethan Winters, who is lured into danger when his missing wife contacts him. The ensuing adventure is dripping with atmosphere and intrigue as you escape the horrifying Baker family and uncover a supernatural mystery. It's a great game, and made better on PS5 thanks to better resolution, faster loading, and more.
2. Resident Evil 2 (PS5)
The differences between Resident Evil 2 on PS4 and PS5 are few and far between, but its everlasting quality remains. This is still a spectacular remake of the 1998 survival horror classic, modernising Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield's first adventure with a third-person camera and vastly updated visuals. The Raccoon Police Department has never looked more terrifying with a native 4K resolution and ray tracing on PS5, so leave enough room to peek over the covers and experience one of the best horror experiences around.
1. Resident Evil 4 (PS5)
One of the most influential, and most highly rated, games in living memory is Resident Evil 4, and surprise surprise, the remake is just as essential. Capcom has brought Leon's disturbing European excursion into the modern era with updated controls, vastly improved graphics, and knife parries. The remake nails the tone of the beloved original while building on it with a creepier atmosphere and even new areas to explore and side missions to keep you busy. It's somehow improved on one of the best games ever, and even features full PSVR2 support.

Street Fighter 6, no question. Been playing it almost consistently since launch two years ago, have around 600 hours on it. I've been playing fighting games since SF2 in the arcades, and SF6 is quite possibly the best ever made.
My top three games of all time are WipEout 2097, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Titanfall 2. I don't have a firm one-two-three, but those bounce around those positions. SF6 now sits with them.
Capcom has been on fire this gen. That’s an insane list of games!
RE4 VR, not even a contest
Capcom just make incredibly well made, old-fashion, great games.
Whilst I still personally prefer Resident Evil 2, it's hard to argue against Resident Evil 4 being top, especially when taking into consideration its exceptional VR mode as well. No matter how ypu look at it though, Capcom have been on a fantastic run
Village should not be that high, but RE4 remake is the best game Capcom have made up until this point. RE9 has BIG shoes to fill when it comes out.
Wow, I can't believe there have only been 10 Capcom games on PS5, many of which are simply PS4 ports. No judgment on their quality, it's a GREAT list, but...only 10!?
I've only played the Residents Evil and DMC, but of those the ranking seems about right to me!
The monster hunters are way too low. Easily Capcoms best series. I know World didn't really get a patch or ps5 version, but it plays way better on it than it did on ps4
DMC5, RE4, RE2, SF6 are all peak capcom. Tons of replayability.
Looking forward to the Onimusha reboot.
Amazing list of games. RE 4 makes me incredibly motion sick after like 20 minutes, unfortunately.
1. RE7
2. RE8
3. RE2
4. RE4
5. RE3
6. SF6
7. DMC5
8. DD2
9. MHW
10. MHR
That’s in my opinion. Pragmata soon, please?
Kunitsu-gami is definitely my number one PS5 Capcom game!
My favorite Capcom game is Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Sad it didn’t make the list
Would have Mega Man 11 on the list too. Probably the most I've enjoyed a game in the series since the classic NES games.
Capcom definitely has a good amount of bangers. Mostly RE games here but I have really enjoyed Street Fighter 6, Dragon Dogma 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds. I mostly played Monster Hunter Rise on Switch though.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is such an under appreciated gem, it’s a truly unique experience that captures a sense of adventure like no other game I’ve played. It’s also just plain weird, in an endearing, curious way.
