Battlefield 6 Release Times: When Can You Start Playing?

Battlefield 6 is available to play from 10th October 2025 and will release at the exact times below:

  • North America: 8am PDT / 9am MDT / 10am CDT / 11am EDT
  • UK/Ire: 4pm BST
  • Europe: 5pm CEST / 6pm EEST
  • Asia/Oceania: 12am (Sat) JST / 11pm AWST / 2am (Sat) AEDT

If you have pre-ordered the game digitally on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, then Pre-Load is available now. The full install size is just under 80GB, but a day one patch will likely increase it. Similar to Call of Duty games, you can uninstall parts of the application when you no longer need access to them, such as the campaign. This is one way you could reduce the install size if you don't have much space left.

Is There Battlefield 6 Early Access?

For this release, there is no Battlefield 6 early access of any kind. No matter which version you've pre-ordered or what subscription service you have, all owners of Battlefield 6 will gain access to the game at the same time. Those release times are detailed in full above.

Is Battlefield 6 on EA Play?

Battlefield 6 is not included in EA Play, and you don't get a 10-hour trial if you subscribe to the service. However, EA Play members do receive a 10% discount on the price of the game. This brings it down to £62.99 / $62.99.

What Version of Battlefield 6 Should You Buy?

Battlefield 6 is available in two versions: the Standard Edition and the Phantom Edition. If you pre-order either one, you'll get the Tombstone Pack containing:

  • Gravedigger Soldier Skin
  • “Fallen Heroes” Player Card
  • “Bandolier” Weapon Charm
  • “Express Delivery” Weapon Sticker
  • “Hatchet” L110 Weapon Package
  • “Doomsayer” Soldier Patch
  • Tombstone XP Boost Set

The standard edition doesn't come with anything extra, other than the base game. For an extra £30 / $30, the Phantom Edition offers:

  • Battlefield Pro Token (the Battle Pass for Season 1, 25 Tier Skips, and exclusive cosmetics included)
  • 4 Phantom Squad Soldier Skins
  • 2 Weapon Packages
  • Melee Knife Weapon Skin
  • Vehicle Skin
  • Weapon Sticker
  • Weapon Charm
  • Dog Tag
  • Phantom XP Boost Set

Unless you're really interested in instant customisation options for your multiplayer classes, we recommend the normal Standard Edition. If you're playing the game enough, you could either buy the Phantom Edition upgrade pack afterwards, or simply pick up the Battle Pass for Season 1 when it releases.
