This was a massive undertaking, so we need your help with it. Please let me know if there are any changes or alterations that need to be made. We want to keep this up-to-date.
that is a s#@t ton of games
So many games. So little time
Really didn't realise how many games were available. Blimey!
@get2sammyb - it would be useful to know the title's format, whether PS3 or PS4. not everyone knows which games are available from which platform.
@stueyd67 Why are people acting like PSNow is new? You could have just checked PSN as it has the list of games available. People were bashing it and now suddenly they are interested?
@leucocyte Understand, it's something I'd like to add. But obviously that's a lot of work, so might have to do that gradually. Was important to get the full list together first.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. Noted!
A lot of filler there but there's also a lot of great games as well.
Really is excellent value for what works out at little over £4 a month or less than a tenner if you want to dip in or out of.
Remember when we used to rent games from Blockbuster? The value for money we can get nowadays is ridiculous and unlike any other point in gaming history.
It's a really exciting time to be a gamer imo.
There is so much more games on the service than I was aware!Well done @get2sammyb for the huge task of listing them.
With such a price drop it sure is a tempting offer now..unfortunately if every game takes me as long as AC Odyssey it probably isant for me.lol
@get2sammyb the other thing to add would be whether they are downloadable. The default would be streaming, but personally I’m only really interested in the downloadable ones.
Or is it that PS4 games are all downloadable and PS3 are not?
Great job by the way. I know this is a mammoth task, however...
Please have the PushSquare team review every single one of these games and add the links to the reviews. It’s not much to ask...
@get2sammyb You may have already done this or have a better system. But if you don't have some sort of database set, I would copy all these titles into a spreadsheet and then you can add additional information into the different cells. And with the column for platform, if you enter at the very top or bottom of that column say, 1 PSOne, 2 PS2, 3 PS3, 4 PS4, 5 PSP 6 PS Vita in individual cells, then all you should have to do is type that number and auto fill should kick in and will hopefully save time (LibreOffice does this). Then you can set a macro/algorithm to remove the numbers or a formula to automatically display the correct information (I'm sure there is probably a shortcut system there too, as in replace 1 with PSOne, the formula system can do this too). If you go the formula route, then I would put the platform column for typing in Column A or the last column and the formula column wherever it needs to go, so you can easily avoid copying your platform input column.
Just remember when copying, to copy as what is displayed (might be call special copy (edit: originally thought paste)) and not data in cells (saves you from copying the formula, instead of the information displayed).
I hope this is help of some sort. We appreciate the work and time that you have put into this.
Will have to dream.... this has never been available where I live (Australia) and it likely wouldn’t work anyway because of our third-world Internet infrastructure.
Thanks federal government for botching it so completely....
First game I looked for was Resistance: Fall of Man. Not there.
excellent work getting this list together though.
Baldur's Gate - Dark Alliance? No
Baldur's Gate - Dark Alliance 2? No
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy? No
Champions Of Norrath? No
Champions: Return To Arms? No
The PS2 selection really is pants. The last 2 in the list above are Sony's own IP and are published by them too!!
Good work on this list. After I saw the price drop this was immediately what I wanted to see. I appreciate you anticipating the needs of us readers!
After scanning over the list, it really is interesting to see how it’s such a mixed bag. There are some surprising relevant titles that have recent remasters - like Catherine and Yakuza 4 and 5 - where I’m surprised that the publishers would want them included as it could potentially cannibalize the new release sales. Then there are loads of games I’ve literally never heard of - Legasista? Mordheim City of the Damned? Pid? .... With all due respect to their developers, I don’t really have time or interest for most of these, although I’m sure there are a few gems hidden in here.
If I subscribe, it’ll be to play a few of the last gen hits that I missed that haven’t had PS4 remasters — like Resistance 3, Spec Ops: The Line, and Metal Gear Rising.
Could you have not just linked to the main PS Now site?
It amazes me how much attention the service has got in the past few days because of the price drop.
I wish it got this amount of attention in the past but that is a failing on Sony's part... mainly.
Like Game Pass will eventually replace the Games With gold, PS Now will replace PS+ Games.
Also, @get2sammyb why not put the platform next to the game? I must admit is made me laugh as the PS Now App does not do this either 🤣
@get2sammyb "it would be useful to know the title's format, whether PS3 or PS4. not everyone knows which games are available from which platform."
I've just knocked this out in Excel if you want it...INDEX/MATCH FTW. Can add the bullets and split it if needs be so you can copy/paste
@lessthanleo Oooh, can you email me on sammy [at] pushsquare [dot] com?
Thanks in advance!
Not up to date but it lists which system it's on.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_Now_games
Everything I’m interested in I already own. My son is really enjoying the subscription though.
@sanderson72 I’d be playing Champions of Norrath right now if it were available.
How does dlc, mods, and online work or not work with Now? Download Gta5 and is online available? Fallout 4 mods? Games like the Fallout games and Mafia 2 have some very good dlc.
Fallout 4 without 3 or 4 basic mods for scrapping and weather and some of the dlc? I'll pass. Fallout 3 without dlc is like only half a game. New Vegas has 4 dlc that offers a lot of added play and items. Mafia 2 without Joe's Adventure dlc? Fugedaboutit!
Not sure why Sony not opened this to mobile phones yet.
@get2sammyb Did you add the new games, is that why this is on the front page again as of yesterday at 5AM? Usually you throw an Update: in there somewhere or post a comment.
I skipped this last month b/c wasn't interested but gotta admit it is getting more interesting isn't it? People have been hounding me to play P5.
So many games and not one of them works in my country.
@get2sammyb So, I went onto the PS Now section via the PlayStation Store but then I couldn't get back out of it again?
Even holding down the PS button didn't bring the usual Close Application menu choice. How do you get out of it once you've been inside it? I had to restart the PS4 in the end...
Honestly to those that do not care about owning physical copies of PS3/PS4 games, PS Now is amazing. Tried it years ago on PS3 when it was new and young. Had little to no issues.
So yes if you don't care about physical/digital copies give this service a try. You will never run out of games to enjoy.
Planning on getting this for my kid for Christmas, but read a review on Amazon that said you can input a card code into a kids account but a kids account can't have access to PS Now so the person was out $60.
My kid is 17, so really not a kid any more, so I'm ok w/ whatever he wants to play, but I don't want to be out $10. Guess I should try the free trial first.
Other issue, when I set up his account about 10 years ago on PS3 I set his location as London, b/c well that's his name so it seemed funny at the time. Not sure if he'll be able to use PS Now in the US w/ a UK Account. Technology makes everything easier, but seemingly also harder.
Oh well, maybe it's time to set up his own PSN account, and fudge his birth year by a few months. Kids account is 7-17 on PSN, I checked last night.
https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/50861-can-sub-accounts-stream-ps-now-games/
Some curious omissions I've noticed recently in the list of games:
1) All those Ratchet and Clank games but no Tools of Destruction?
2) Motorstorm Apocalypse but no Motorstorm Pacific Rift?
3) Neither of the Sonic All Stars racing games despite all the other Sega/Sonic games?
I assume it's a licencing issue?
thanx for this list
I would have su bed at least a month if any of the Crysis games were on there. 3 in particular.
Can you do a review of the top games for each system ? @get2sammyb
Question. How long to any downloaded games from PsNow stay on your console? Is it indefinite? Thanks in advance ☺️
I was looking forward to playing Deadly Premonition, but I think this is now not in the games list anymore?
@Gunga you can only use the downloaded games while you’re subbed. Once the sub expires and is not renewed you lose the license to play that game so even if it’s physically on your PS4 it’s useless.
Which is how it should be.
@MarcG420 cheers for that, makes total sense, otherwise you could just sign up for a free trial and download everything without paying a penny!
@Gunga exactly
Brilliant list. Great work!
I noticed it does mention Persona 5 though, which is no longer on the service
Is The Elder Scrolls Online still active? Doesn´t work for me.
Hello. I've recently downloaded The Last of Us through PlayStation NOW and have played The Last of Us. Now, I'd like to play Left Behind, but I get an error code when I select the game. Any thoughts? Thanks!
@Netret0120 that's my problem too, I've loved gaming all my life but working 9 hours a day and now raising a son it's hard to find time other than an hour here and there.
I tried it on PC, its literally unplayable, getting like 10 fps max and I have a gigabit connection...
Great month. Thank you. I like PS Now, so many great games to try and get fun with. PS rules!
Maybe two lists as a vast majority are not available in Europe !
I hope future update allows us to download ps3 games..? Is this possible if we have ps now installed on ps3?
Can’t wait for this service to go live in Romania. It’s a real good value and a good opportunity to play some games that I missed on PS3. Or just returning to some oldies but goldies. From that list Force Unleashed comes to mind. I’m really disappointed that Disney closed all projects for LucasArts; was looking forward for Part 3 and the Bounty Hunter game with young Bobba Fett.
I had the free trial and accidently renewed a month... I actually like it.
I haven't enjoyed the PS4 as much as the masses, but this service works for me as I can try all those games I've been skeptical about.
I know its probably more work that you don't want to do, how does it compare to the US one?
@get2sammyb Which games are Downloadable? No one has a list. No list even srperates the generations either.
@Polishbandit
All PS4 games are downloadable (including the PS4 versions of ps2 games running under emulation).
Ps3 games can only be streamed.
That’s universal and unchanging do no need fir a list.
If your question was “which of these are ps3 versions of game” then that’s a good question, would be good if they listed that, but it’ll be a lot of work for someone.
@thefourfoldroot I get that, but I don't know which ones are PS4 games. There are so many I've never heard of, but if I knew which are which I could look into them to find out about them. Instead of looking up every single one on the list.
@Polishbandit
Indeed, but that a bit too much work for the guys here I think.
If there is anything you are interested in in particular let me know and I can check for you.
Sony should be doing it, the community shouldn't have to.
Your list says Genji, but I do not see that on Playstation Now.
I really need to stop forgetting I have PSNow. I often buy a game from a baclist I have, only to find out I've already got the opportunity to play it. I just don't have time to go through the list all the time. So this helps!
It'd be really nice to know which games are installed locally and which have to be streamed. A lot of people can'twon't play games if they have to be streamed.
@Lorben When You Boot Up The Service Go To Browse Anything Outside Of The PS3 Section Can Be Downloaded.
@Polishbandit You Can Actually Browse The Whole List On The PS Now Tab On Your PS4 Without Sighing up They Have The Games Sorted Into What System They Are For.
Oh, nice. Thanks
You mean "a complete list of every PS Now games and future PS Plus games".
"Little" request for the team: could we have that, in a table that we could sort by the review scores you have, or meta critics, and maybe even filter by genre and stuff like that?
That would be MASSIVE!
Thanks
@get2sammyb I think Dark Cloud 2 needs to be added to the list.
@ILikeStake Thanks, will add!
@jipiboily
I wouldn't like to see a "big request"! Jeez...
@get2sammyb The playstation app was updated overnight. Its pretty impressive. The integrated store is super fast and much easier to navigate. It also has a little section on each game saying whether it will be supported on ps5. We know 99% of games are supported but still good to know. I checked Dark Souls, which is what I'm currently playing. It states that while the game will work on ps5, some features available on ps4 may be absent. All in all the app is much better and a lot more useful.
@get2sammyb hey, there is a guy, @Kienda that I agree with. There are downloadable and streamable games. And, me personally, only interested in downloadable games. Could you please update the list, it would be so much more usefull!
Dont support this anti-customer practice. eyeroll
Why aren't some of the games available for download?
