Got to the ending of of Never Alone (PS4) this afternoon. Simple pleasant enough diversion of a 2D puzzle platformer featuring a young inupiat (native Alaskan tribe) and an artic fox. Fairly light on the gameplay side but I did enjoy the aesthetics and the documentary clips you get to watch when you find collectables. Cost a couple of quid and took a few hours start to end. Shame it didn't have a platinum trophy but hey ho.
...and guess what @RogerRoger? Yes of course the fox was a spirit fox as well.

@KilloWertz Those are ME2 DLC’s, no? I did miss them back on the original ME2 release but when I carry on with my Legendary Edition character I’ll be sure to hit those DLC.
By the way, I was able to stick with my renegade Shepherd, although because I skipped a lot of the side content I wasn’t quite able to rack up enough renegade points to get to the 75% mark for the trophy. I got close though. 😄

@Th3solution Nice work on going renegade. I didn’t want to miss out on anything so felt I had to go paragon but sometimes the renegade option was so tempting. I was especially tempted to tell the journo to stuff off so glad you got to 😀
@Th3solution Yeah, I misunderstood the first time and thought you were talking about skipping it in ME2 and obviously it was the first one. Oops.
Kind of good job sticking to Renegade, but only kind of since you didn't get the trophy. I managed to still get it even though I did more Paragon stuff than I should have.

@KilloWertz@render It’s tough to go full renegade, at least for me it was. There are times I got tricked into going paragon, or got tricked into getting no morality points at all. For example, the first time I came back from a main mission and reported to the council, I hung up on them immediately when they started to question my tactics. 😅 I figured that would grant renegade points, but it actually just cut off the conversation and gave me nothing. And yet sometimes I responded kindly so as to keep an option open for a side quest and I accidentally got paragon points. So I think I ended with the renegade meter about 60% full and paragon about 30% full.

@Th3solution Yeah, technically I'll never go full Renegade to the point where every decision is that. It'd be interesting to try it someday, but given I don't have time to do that many multiple playthroughs of lengthy enough games, that will never happen. There are certain decisions that are too important to the future of your story to just kill something off or whatever, but I'd still count it as long as the majority of the time you are a Renegade.
I hung up on the Council multiple times during my Renegade FemShep playthrough last year. It's actually quite funny at times, especially their reaction to it the next time they contact you. I thought it gave me Renegade points, but maybe those were for what I said to them beforehand. I don't know, as it's been many months since I've played it.

@KilloWertz If my observation is correct, I think you can often get renegade points from what you say to the council rather than just hanging up on them. I could be wrong though.

Just finished the first playthrough of Transistor and it was class tbh. Really playable and allows the player to be very creative with load-outs etc. Got at least another playthrough left to chase the plat but with the vast majority of skills etc already unlocked, ng+ (& beyond) should be a lot of fun.
Just finished the last DLC for Assassin's Creed Origins and now I'm completely done with the game after roughly 70 hours of playtime. The DLCs added about 20 hours more content, which is pretty good. But overall, it was just more of the same and I thought the DLCs for Odyssey were much better done.
Anyway, great game and I'm glad that I can move on from with it now.
Just beat Banjo-Kazooie on the Switch (via the NSO Expansion Pack) after taking a few days off from the game.
OMG what a nightmare that was. I stuck it out to the end, but probably shouldn't have. One of the most consistently aggravating and stressful gaming-related experiences I've ever had.

@Ralizah It’s a game I‘ve been meaning to play for about 15 years but I just couldn’t get over how utterly ass it handles. And I say that as somebody who’s beaten Donkey Kong 64.
@nessisonett It controls poorly, yeah (especially underwater, holy crud!). But it's the level design and the... content in this game that makes it such a horrible slog.
And the game's soundscape is pure torture to listen to.

Professor Layton and the Lost Future (a.k.a. Unwound Future) on Nintendo DS. I have been replaying the original Layton trilogy. I remembered Lost Future being great, but I'd forgotten just how good that one was.
It has one of the best stories of the series, and good quality, interesting puzzles. The big twist is arguably the most ridiculous one out of any Layton game (and that's saying something), but I don't think that's such a bad thing.
Death's Door fantastic game all round sitting at 87% completion, so still post game and another run through sometime for the platinum. Highly recommended if you haven't played it yet!
@Voltan It's a lot of fun. I was initially using the umbrella but then found out you have to equip it before the first door. I didn't spot it till after I'd beaten granny, fun experimenting with all the weapons you get anyway.
@MightyDemon82 Using the umbrella is a lot more of a challenge but at least if you are going for that on your second run then you'll know what to expect.
@render that's what I was thinking. I'll clear up everything else so I just have that one trophy to do when I start from scratch.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one though felt like a real old style game and I loved the art and music. The hidden stuff is a treat to go hunting for as well!
@MightyDemon82 It doesn't try to do too much and what it does do it does really well. The combat is great, the story is great, the adventuring is great. Also great to hear you are enjoying it 😃
@render I very rarely dislike games I play. Some that I'll finish I might just shrug my shoulders and say that was ok and I move on but I tend to find enjoyment in most things.
