The next installment in the Project Diva series is coming to the Ps Vita and the Ps3! It was revealed officially during this week's issue of Famitsu in Japan. The Ps Vita version is scheduled for a release (THIS SUMMER!!) while the Ps3 version will release sometime in 2013. A video featuring "World's End Dance Hall" by wowaka and "Cat Food" by doriko has been released accompanying this announcement:

What do you mean post YouTube videos?  Do you mean how to embed videos in your threads?
I really have to go outside more, I've never heard this Project Diva, I am Googling it as of this post =)

Edit:
Looks colorful enough to be a rhythm game, is it like Patapon in means of gameplay?

Yes I was wondering how to embed a youtube video, it seems to be different then on the nintendolife website..

Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva is a rhythm game (lol not like patapon) based off of popular songs from a voice synthesizer software titled Vocaloid. Most of the songs are sung in Japanese through the vocaloid software, which probably explains why the series hasn't come overseas yet..  The first game was released on the Psp, titled "Hatsune Miku Project Diva," and is published by Sega. Then two more games came to the Psp under "Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2" and "Hatsune Miku Project Diva Extend." Two Psn games from the series went on the Japanese Psn network. Also two arcade versions were made... There's also virtual Vocaloid concerts in Japan, and in 2011 I believe the concert came to Los Angeles. There was also several Hatsune Miku Toyota commercials released in North America.. Probably less then 1% of the population outside of Japan knows what Project Diva is so you dont live under a rock per say...
The previous games were absolutely amazing, this vita version looks like its going to be the best one yet!

The game now has a confirmed release date of August 30, 2012 for the Ps Vita while the ps3 version is still scheduled for a release sometime in 2013.

Yesterday, new footage surfaced covering a playable demo of the game. The video shows the full versions of "World's End Dance Hall" and "Cat Food."

Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva finally has an official name, its "Hatsune Miku Project Diva F." Famitsu revealed that with a single copy of the game (No AR Cards required) you'll be a able to take pictures with a life-sized model of Hatsune Miku and possibly other vocaloids.

Two more songs have also been confirmed for the game, they are "Secret Police" by Hatsune Miku and "Meloncholy" by Rin Kagamine. The limited edition Hatsune Miku White Ps Vitas are selling like hotcakes in Japan, with some sites reporting to be sold out in a matter of minutes. Knowing Japan's obsession with Vocaloid, I'm betting that Project Diva F will greatly boost Ps Vita sales over in Japan.

Some new scans of Project Diva F on Famitsu and some adiitional information on the game can be found here: http://alturl.com/g5pwn

I bet games like this may skyrocket Vita sales in Japan while still not selling a single copy anywhere else. Are you sure it will have a western release this summer?

It will have a summer release in Japan only, I doubt Sega would take a risk by publishing such a niche game outside of Japan. The game is entirely in Japanese (as in lyrics) unfortunately, I doubt the western market would buy into such a game, even if the lyrics were subbed. I'm estimating that 0.01% of the population outside of Japan knows who Hatsune Miku is, including the rest of the Vocaloids. Importing seems to be the only option like with the rest of the Project Diva series.

Odds & Ends left me stunned! Miku's powerful voice and facial expressions are a huge step up from the previous Diva games.

I liked Meiko's Module for obvious reasons. Very impressed with the song selection at this point, Nastalogic and Odds&Ends being the best imo. Now we need a Shiteyanyo and Larval Rin module and this game will be perfect. ~

New footage from Nico Nico Douga of Freely Tomorrow, Time Machine and Odds&Ends.(You must have a Nico account to view videos on Nico) Thats a lot of "scratch" during Freely Tomorrow, and the song's on Normal.. Hopefully the overall difficulty reaches or exceeds Extend. More impotantly, Odds&Ends is godly!
