Topic: Civilian Deaths in Gravity Rush?

Often whenever I start a mission or use Kat's gravity powers, I'm always next to an innocent child, woman, etc... then I thrust them into the air and they either fall into a chasm or launch who knows how many feet in the air... Do these characters ultimately die? They don't respawn, or atleast I haven't seen them do so. It seems meaningless when Kat saves a kid in the game, only later to thrust two random kids violently in the air ...Now whenever I use her gravity powers I try to stay away from the civilians...  Was it implemented to give the game a stronger sense of realism or was it to satisfy the dark needs we as humans sometimes crave?.....creepy.   D:

If they were going for realism, the NPCs would react more when I hurl park benches at them with stasis.

Once i've finished the game, i'm going to replay and try as hard as I can to clear the city of civvies........
