@themcnoisy: I always try to catch Sony's conference live but 2am on a weekday is a killer. I've done it a couple of times before but I'm a total zombie at work the next day.

Having said that, I'm watching live this year with Push Square, looking forward to it!

3am till 5am. It's a shame I can't watch that one live, as it's the show I'm looking forward the most. I'll watch it the morning after then.

I actually prefer to wait until the conferences are put up on YouTube after the fact (usually happens about an hour after the live streams), that way I won't have to worry about the video cutting out/buffering.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

@seanobi: Tabletennis was a brilliant game.

This! Do it Rockstar.

I cant believe Bethesda and EA had pants presentations. We need a new crash, wipeout and bioshock to get over the crap games reviewed so far.

@themcnoisy: A new WipEout would be so good! I didn't play that much of the PS1 originals but I absolutely loved WipEout HD, and 2048 on the Vita

What could happen: Sony announces a Kickstarter for a sequel to WipEout, with Firesprite/Playtonic as the developer.
What will happen: probably nothing.

I'm going to try to stay up late (03:00-05:00 am). I don't know if I'll manage, because I got up at 7 this morning and have to get up at 7 again tomorrow.

@Kidfried: I'm honestly not expecting WipEout to show up, but it would be so great if it did.

Hope to see you in the chat later!

Guv@Quintumply: no wipeout

My top 6 games from the show;

1) Steep
2) Watchdogs 2
3) Southpark TFBH
4) Gravity Rush 2
5) Titanfall 2
6) Crash remastered

Great job Ubisoft after years of junk.

@themcnoisy No new WipEout

Still, Sony had a great show, and there's been plenty across the board to be excited about.

I haven't been able to catch the Gravity Rush 2 trailer yet! How's it looking?

@Quintumply: Boss, I never played the first one - but GR2 looks bloody brilliant!

@themcnoisy: The first game is good, I think you should maybe give it a go before you play GR2. I get the feeling it's going to be a huge jump in quality.

@kyleforrester87: You know you want watchdogs 2 lol.

@Quintumply: I may do, I should have more free time to play games later in the year. I'm also going to delete RL as its taken over my life.

@themcnoisy: Haha it was like that mission on GTA5 where you blow up the Life Invader CEO on stage, but stretched out into an entire game that thinks it has a legit point to make. Maybe I'm being too hard on it, could be fun.

I can live without some FF7 but to be fair I wanted to see Wolfenstein 2, Evil Within 2 and FF7 at this years E3 and so far I've had nada

My top 6 in reverse order:-

Honorable mentions first - Crash trilogy (no gameplay, just a mention so can't be higher), Dead Rising 4, Halo Wars 2, Battlefield 1 (just a reskinned BF4 with added dynamic weather), God of War (don't like GoW but the trailer almost had me wanting it), ME:A (could easily have been in my top 3 but so little shown - teased a lot of info in between the behind the scenes but wanted much more - especially with all the developer departures and expected release date)

6:- Scalebound/Spider-Man/Gears 4 - a joint 6th because each deserved to be mentioned and couldn't separate them
5:- Forza Horizon 3 - looked incredible and love the Australian setting just edged out those in 6th
4:- Titanfall 2 - enjoyed the first, second looks to address all the issues I had with that
3:- CoD:Infinite Warfare/CoD4:r - great looking campaign - I want this more than TF2 so really had to be on the list
2:- Days Gone - Biggest surprise and had the same 'wow' that Horizon had last year - best 'new' reveal/IP
1:- Horizon: Zero Dawn - Just made me want the game now! Most anticipated game in the next year!

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

Although I'm not interested in VR, one the big surprises for me was Batman: Arkham VR. Never thought Rocksteady would be working on another Batman game and for VR to boot.
