I want this thread to be a place where people can toss out their video game ideas. I’m never going to be a developer, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t have a say in what games should be made! Maybe a developer or two will read this discussion thread and become inspired by our ideas!

—Working Title:
Assassins Creed: Acts of the Apostles
—The Gist:
Jesus is crucified. On the third day, He rises again, but instead of inspiring the masses, mass panic ensues. The apostles are wanted men, they’re separated and forced into hiding. They all have their own personal demons that need to be addressed, but how will they respond? Each apostle has their own personality, unique characteristics—strengths, weaknesses, abilities, skill tree upgrades—and belief-based objectives. Multiple story arc possibilities.
—Additional info:
With 12 apostles, it sets up fantastic multi-player opportunities.
—Perhaps a mode where they fight each other to become the new leader?
—Perhaps a mode where they try to blend into society while guards desperately seek them out?
—Perhaps a mode where they travel around a busy city and proselytize to bring as many new followers into the fold as possible before (or without) being caught?

Will there be divine intervention? God only knows!

Medal of Honor: Purple Heart
Or
Battlefield: Life Support
Or
Call of Duty: Remains of the Day

—The Gist:
Your arm patch says you’re a medic. You save lives. Your job is also to retrieve the bodies on the battlefield. You’re unarmed, and it’s a war crime to kill you, but war is hell, and all bets are off. Armed only with the medical supplies you can carry, you must save as many injured as you can. Are the injuries too severe to treat? It’s your job to determine who can and can’t be saved. Be resourceful. Be careful. Be the difference between a soldier’s life and death.

You may be asked by wounded soldiers to end it all. Will you?

You’ll be presented with hundreds of different battlefield injuries and levels of severity. You may need to stay hidden or run for cover. You may need to drag or carry wounded warriors back to safety. You may need to leave them and come back for them later with more supplies. You may need to set up a triage area to make your job more efficient and effective. You may even receive help from soldiers on either side who value you and the aid you’re offering. Does it matter whose side the injured soldier is on? It’s your call—you’re the medic.

Working title: Marvel's Iron Man
The gist: It would be made by insomniac games. It's set in the same universe as Marvel's Spider-Man but you stop more large scale threats and bigger villains. You can fly around freely and explore new york like in s-m. The main villain is the mandarin.
Additional info
-It's an third person shooter-action game
-You can go into first person if that's your thing
-It would be exclusive to ps5
-Spidey would make a cameo
-It would set up a marvel games universe

Working Title: Casino Construction
The Gist: It’s a sim casino/hotel/restaurant/movie theater/museum/gift store/shopping mall/amusement park/arcade/parking valet/medical clinic/amphitheater/tattoo parlor.

If you’ve been to Las Vegas and entered any of the main casinos on the strip, you’ll see that it’s not just a casino—it’s an all-in-one entertainment mecca. Caesars Palace has a mall. Circus Circus has a circus and arcade. Orleans has an 18-plex movie theater. Stratosphere has an amusement park on the roof. Luxor has an Egyptian museum and Imax theater. Mirage has a great theater for concerts. Flamingo has a a mini outdoor zoo with flamingos and penguins. New York New York has a roller coaster. Bellagio has the outdoor fountain. Mandalay Bay has an indoor marine aquarium. Excalibur has a jousting arena. Imperial Palace has a classic car museum where you can buy the cars on display. The point is this: All the casinos are uniquely amazing and diverse in their offerings.

Anyway, the game would use the over-arching framework of the mega-casino to house all the good stuff—it all starts inside the casino. Design the casino and then add in all the other things you want inside/outside your mega-casino.

Additional info:
—The game is focused as much on the big-scale as it is on the goings-on:
———With games of the casino, you can go down into the pits and play ‘em (multiple slots options, craps, black jack, roulette, etc.).
———If you add an amusement park to the casino, you can design and ride the rides (a la Roller Coaster Tycoon).
———If you add restaurant(s), you can set the restaurant theme and the menu and the price point (high class, sit down, or fast food), then design and make your own food (a la Cooking Mama).
———If you add in a movie theater you can design each auditorium, set the weekly shows and even create movie clips (perhaps video game clips you’ve captured from other games) to show on the screen.
—The casino you create would be added to “The Strip” and you can then go inside other users’ casino creations and mess around with their games, shows, rides, etc.
—You can upvote/downvote other users’ creations, which, each week, will push them farther up or down the heart of the strip.

Working title: Batman: Guardian of Gotham

The gist:
A Batman RPG with a morality system, not too different to Mass Effect 2 with the whole Paragon /Renegade deal. The game is open world and you have to solve mysteries using detective skills and there are some cool interrogation mechanics and dialogue options which can further the reputation of your batman, to being someone who gets his hands dirty (like a Batman who kills) or the opposite.
How you behave affects your relationship with the Bat-family such as Alfred, Robin, Nightwing etc but it also affects how the villains treat you too.
Main villain is Deathstroke but appearances to come from a few others.

Additional info:
You can customise your suit and cowl, the Batmobile and the batpod by investing in upgrades which come via experience points. Basically you can create your own Batman from a narrative and aesthetic standpoint (kinda).
Some of the boss fights should be extremely challenging and are made easier by collecting clues about the villains and listening to conversations and/or performing well in interrogations. So you get to experience Batman doing recon and prepping on an enemy before the fight.

@Atreus97 Sounds good, but also sounds kinda like Gotham Knights in many respects. We don't know much about the direction that game's gonna go, and you're obviously gonna be controlling the action from the perspective of the wider Bat Family instead, but I'm really hoping it goes to some of the places you're describing there, and allows for that moral interplay between different approaches.

Are you excited for Gotham Knights, or are you gonna give it a pass, or wait for reviews?

@RogerRoger
I'm not sure if Gotham Knights has much in common with the game I described, other than the wider Bat family being involved. In a way I'm combining my favourite franchises: Arkham and Mass Effect.
From what I've read so far, it's a story-driven action game but I've not seen anything about RPG elements or choosing your own path in a meaningful way.

That being said though I've not completely ruled out buying it, I just need to know and see more before I decide. I really want to like it as I'm a fan of the characters and the universe so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

@Atreus97 You're right, I'm not sure it will, either, but I'd certainly like it to! The potential is there, given the distinct personalities of the wider Bat Family. Imagine if a playthrough with Red Hood went to those darker, more violent places you describe, compared to the optimism Nightwing will likely try to uphold, or the youthful uncertainty of Robin? That's kinda what I meant.

But yeah, we've seen enough to get me curious, but I'd like to know a little more about it. And I agree that what you originally described sounds epic, and would be an instant pre-order for me!

Working title: dips on a train

You have to dip said Doritos from @Milktastrophe game. You have to dip them into a multitude of dips - like salsa, cream and chive. The difficulty comes from the train moving and you are also trying to hook up with Ezio from @nessisonett game. The train is on its way and your character is actually a part of @jgrangervikings1 casino construction company working alongside @Atreus97 Batman in security. The train actually changes into a ship from @Passpartu game to make it even harder. Second player has to take screenshots like @RogerRoger hoping to snap the character with crumbs all over their top for the multiplayer trophy 'dandruff'.
