@MightyDemon82 Glad you liked them! My favourite line from their Wikipedia page is “Like fellow Scottish band The Proclaimers, their lyrics are sung in their native Scots tongue.” As if those two bands are in any way comparable! Ah yes, Barry Manilow sings in the same accent as Joey Ramone 😂
I just have to vent about last night's episode of House of the Dragon with someone on this forum because what in the hell was that last few minutes? Also how do you hide spoilers on this site?
Thank you, okay so my biggest gripe with House of the Dragon is: Why didn't Rhaenys kill Aegon and Alicent when she had the chance? She has already killed several people in the initial storming of the hall and this will surely lead to all-out war between the two houses so she might as well have killed them when she had the chance as payback right? Or at the very least she could have killed Alicent if she felt Aegon didn't deserve it. Otherwise everything about her plan was just too idiotic for someone who has previously been portrayed as being quite competent.
While The Rings of Power was rather slow to get going, I really enjoyed the finale. Clear ties to the later history that we all know of Middle-Earth made it a bit easier to follow too!
Finally caught up with Succession. That season 3 ending was a bit of a gut punch and I am very interested in seeing how it all comes to an end. Also finished rewatching Ash vs Evil Dead and that show deserved better. Still kind of bitter it got cancelled but what is a network to do with low ratings?
Born too early to explore space and born too late to explore Earth, but born just in time to explore memes.
@PegasusActual93 In the interest of spoilers I won't say too much... other than Succession is probably in my top #3 shows of all time, and that S3 final twist was something pretty special! One of the few times that television has taken me utterly by surprise, and genuinely didn't see that final moment coming. Great performances all round, especially Jesse Armstrong (Ken) and Matt MacFadyen (Tom).
@nessisonett
I stopped watching Doctor Who after the first season with Jodie Whitaker. Nothing against the actors they did good it's just that the writing took a very noticeable nosedive in quality and the plot was starting to go places I really did not like, shame as a long time fan.

@PegasusActual93 I can’t exactly say it’s been a great term for Jodie but it’s nothing to do with her portrayal, she’s done the best she could. Chibnall dropped the ball on the whole but there are a couple of alright episodes in there. That one tonight was about 60% good and 40% a bit crap so it’s probably one of her best episodes!
