@QualityGeezer Aye, I actually want us to sell Kane if he won’t put pen to paper and sign a new deal. Can’t stand the thought of him going on a free - especially to somewhere like United.
@JohnnyShoulder Ah, I was actually unaware of their respective contract situations so that makes that part for Liverpool a bit easier. Finding the right replacements will be a whole different task but at least they’ve got one in the door already.

Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent deal announced yesterday. What a player. Our Swedish ginger. Hope he finds his form this season again under Postecoglou. Hope we could get Maddison in the door too.
It's also very ironic that we're wearing an all-white home kit in the season we're not getting any European football. Highly amusing and rather fitting.

Just heard that Bournemouth have axed O'Neill. Am pretty shocked as I thought he had worked a miracle by keeping them up after the Parker debacle. I imagine he will be fairly well compensated for his trouble though.

@sorteddan Being a Southampton boy, I won't be crying a river for him.
But it is a shame when a manager that exceeds expections is sacked, seeing as they were one of the favourites to go down last year.
Darren Moore has also gone from Sheffield Wednesday, although officially that is by 'mutual consent'. Which I find a bit strange after getting them promoted. I know there is a bit of turmoil going on in terms of the ownership though.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@JohnnyShoulder
Yeah I was shocked to hear about Big Dave as well.
Regardless of club loyalties it has to be slightly concerning from a national perspective if young English managers can't hold into their jobs despite performing well and meeting expectations.
Have Saints got a manager yet? ... If not then you could do worse than O'Neill!

@nessisonett Apparently Stenhousemuir were on twitter offering ochleview as a venue 🤣! Not needed now though, 12 points from 12. Feels unreal to type that out!
@R1spam It’s crazy, I don’t think we’ve ever gone 4 in a row during these qualifiers! Euro 2020/21 was the first tournament they’d gotten to in my lifetime so I’m just hoping we get to Germany so there’s plenty fans in the stadiums this time!
@QualityGeezer It’s been a struggle for Wales, wonder if Bale retiring’s hit morale as much as it’s hit them on the pitch. Just need to hope their rebuild doesn’t take the 20 years it’s taken us!
@QualityGeezer Joe Ledley was a tank at Celtic, maybe not the most creative of players but he was proper reliable. Scored some really important goals too!
@JohnnyShoulder It’s yet another way around FFP. The UAE bought all the titles they want through Man City, Qatar bought the World Cup, the Saudis want a slice of the pie. If they buy up enough clubs round the world then they can very easily artificially inflate prices of players to bump up the clubs’ finances while getting around these rules. Ruben Neves is a good player but that’s stupid money being paid for him just to be loaned out immediately to Newcastle. I’m not sure how loan fees are calculated into FFP but considering the two clubs are owned by the same people, there’s 100% dodgy stuff going on. Plus the Saudis own a piece of Chelsea while not actually saying how big the piece is, making these transfers seem even more suspicious. Turns my stomach seeing the Prem make a big deal and all that with their Rainbow Laces campaign with the teams funded the way they are.
