@ralphdibny Hahaha, today’s actually the first day I can request it due to the timing or whatever so I might just hold off a bit as I have plenty time and see where this goes! I really don’t want to accidentally swindle somebody 😅
@nessisonett Swindle away my child, thy Xenu commands it. Ha kidding...
Well you'll want examine it and check it's all working and stuff anyway. If you put the tracking number on the parcel in to the royal mail website you can see whether they have listed it as lost/delivered/picked up etc
"Preoccupied with a single leaf, you won’t see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree, you’ll miss the entire forest. Don't be preoccupied with a single spot. See everything in its entirety...effortlessly. That is what it means...to truly "see." "
@TheBrandedSwordsman The card thingy didn’t include the reference number unfortunately but I think there’s a pretty high chance it is the PS5 as I really can’t think of anything else it could be. Whatever it is, it’ll be re-delivered Monday and just in time, I was literally going to send for my refund this afternoon 😅
@mookysam I am beginning to think that the guy literally stuck a 2nd class postage stamp on it and thought “yep, that’ll do”. It would explain why it’s taken so long though, if it’s been sat aside for wrong postage right over Christmas in the middle of a pandemic at a depot that had a Covid outbreak. If this ends up being something else I’m gonna cry though 😂😂
@nessisonett oh I thought you were going to pick it up today, the tracking number would be on the postage label assuming the seller used a tracked service (which they should have done)
I don't know if I'd risk leaving it another week to claim the refund as I generally don't trust anyone. But good luck with whatever you decide to do. The seller might have updated the purchase page with a tracking number that you can copy and paste into the RM website and see if it is indeed the same parcel that's been rescheduled for delivery. Do paste it into RM though, the automatically updated eBay tracking is slow to update and isn't as detailed.
@nessisonett Oh jeez, you didn't did you?! It might be worth contacting ebay, as I thought they were trying to crack down on misleading listing such as this.
@TheIdleCritic Depends if on the item description states that it is a picture of a PS5. If it does, might be a bit shaky. If it didn't, then Ness can absolutely try to get a refund.

Oh god @nessisonett... I know it's really not all that much but I'm so sorry to see and hear that you've been led on like that, especially with all the delays and stuff to getting what turned out to be just a picture
Here's hoping you can get your money back ness and quickly!

Probably worth contacting eBay and if that fails PayPal or credit card company if you used either of those to pay. Hope you get all your money back, absolute despise these scammers, awful people.

@nessisonett Oh no! 😧 I’m so sorry, my friend. This scamming has gotten out of control. I guess the long delay in mailing it was to give the scumbag time to scrub his profile and disappear with your money? Sheesh, that really sucks. I hear about this sort of thing happening a lot, so there’s no shame in it. The onus is on the online retailers to crack down on all this nonsense.
