And the modding talk.stops here guys as per the rules. If you wish to discuss further there are other sites out there for that, here is not one of them I am afraid. Any further discussion here about it will earn the person or persons a vacation from here.
B) What constitutes a rule breaking modification, as this mod only enables one feature that has nothing to do with actual game functionality or access.
EDIT: Never mind, per the rules, this specific hardware modification doesn't break the rules:
"Do not discuss current gen emulators/homebrew; It is permitted to constructively discuss the use of flash carts, emulators and homebrew software when in the context of previous generation(s) hardware. We ask that you do not link to any resources for illegal copyrighted content such as where to download ROMs and we reserve the right to lock, edit or delete any threads or comments we feel stray too far into an illegal or legal grey area."
This is not a flash cart, custom software/firmware nor emulator/ROM file based thing.
I just remembered something funny that came up at work actually.
One of our forklift drivers reversed...into the warehouse door, and managed to bend it backwards. Apparently they "Wanted a new door anyway" but I think what they really mean is "We don't want to fire one of the few forklift drivers".
I dunno. Kinda made me chuckle that warehouse doors are so flimsy. I mean this thing I could bend with my bare hands before it came off. Kinda crazy considering the importance of stock security.
So, I have finally got my office sorted at home, decorated and kitted out and I topped it off with buying an old small TV and hooking up my Gamecube, PS2, SNES and NES on a cabinet and I don't think I am going to leave it ever ever again. Also got my game collections stored on some shelves.
Metroid Prime is my beast. All I need now is to actually have several days off on my own without the kids. I also need to resist the urge to start collecting loads of old Gamecube games.
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
@Rudy_Manchego I'm always tempted to buy more GameCube games. I haven't bought one in ages though. Still thinking of getting the Wind Waker + OOT Master Quest Edition some day, I believe that's the only way to play it in the west (without emulating of course).
I'm tempted to pre-order Soulcalibur 6 Deluxe Edition mainly because I want the steel case but I'm not keen on paying a $100 for it. I had already cancelled my pre-order for the standard edition which had a 20% discount. The average score is 85/100 on Metacritic, atm.
@WanderingBullet I was tempted to buy Soul Calibur 6 as my one fighting game for the year, but the more gameplay I watch, the less interested I have been. I’m waiting to read reviews, as sometimes just watching a game is hard to judge it by, especially fighters. If I could find the complete edition of Injustice 2 at a significant discount then I might rather get that to fill the void. Every now and then I need to just punch, kick, and throw between my episodes exploring and open world and leveling up while participating in an epic narrative. 😋
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
@Octane Wind Waker is on my list as never played that when I first had my GC. I also want to get Resident Evil 4 despite owning it on PS2 and Wii edition just because I have such fond memories of playing it on the GC originally.
@KALofKRYPTON I have seen some cheap games but then some are a bit more expensive - basically, any Nintendo exclusives!
