Even in this heatwave (definition for non-UK people: 3 days of hot weather in a row before the inevitable thunderstorm), I never put the fan on the highest setting - that is reserved for an emergency.
On topic, bought a 16" pedestal fan today, cooled me down, 8/10
Bought a burrito from a local Mexican restaurant. It was their Carna Asada burrito and as always very good. They put the right amount of filling in it and everything.

@ralphdibny You don't need to wake up to close the windows, as you are supposed them open, but keep your curtains/blinds closed. That is what they said on the radio anyway.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Just got back from the supermarket and, amongst other things, I purchased some bleach. It promised to be lemon-scented but heck, if you buy actual lemons and they smell like this goop, I'd strongly advise against eating them. Cleaned my bathroom right up, though. I'd give it a solid 9/10.
Also got milk (10/10), croissants (8/10), paper towels (9/10) and a sandwich for later (TBC).

I was out walking on mountains on the weekend. Was way too hot, got way too much Sun, possibly heat stroke and massive dehydration. Anyhow, came to village or something with cafe selling overpriced bottles of water. Normally cost 50p but was £1.40 each. Bought three, downed one immediately. It was cold and wet. 11/10
