Ok so recent I have moved and sadly my bedroom is alot smaller then my previous one. Most of the room is taken up by my bed and a few dressers. One wall is completely taken up by a window and another is a closet. The third wall is only a small space about 3 ft between the bathroom door and the bedroom door. Now I have a small enough to however though I have the following systems that I use a Xbox One also doubles as my Blu-ray player in my bedroom, Switch, SNES Mini, NES Mini, Wii, and an HD Clone SNES. I through a splitter I can hook them all up to my the problem is I don't have any room for a large entertainment center to house them all. So I was just wondering has anyone else ran into this problem and if so any creative ways that maybe you have used to get around the problem.

I really hate having to move them to another room or worst yet just box them up. Just to have them sit in a closet. I don't mind any DYI ideas as my friend and I can put stuff together and what not.

@Tasuki It seems that most of what you have there is pretty small - and won't run too hot. The Ninty mini's and the clone should do well enough close together or in a small shelving unit type thing.

The Switch dock is going to be the most power hungry and needing of cooling, but could easily sit in a cooler spot behind or to the side of the TV.

I don't think you need to DIY much, perhaps something to stand the TV on (like an office monitor stand) to create clearance for the micro-consoles/clone/Wii.

Is the XBONE chassis sturdy enough to carry the weight of the TV?

@Tasuki i had a similar issue so i built my own custom cabinets but this can cost a bit

@Tasuki How big is your television? Given the small space, perhaps something more vertical would suit if you're able to affix it to the wall.

I only have a small TV (26") and so have a small unit that's about 2' wide, but there's enough space for six of my consoles and the SNES Mini. The only one that doesn't fit is the Switch dock, so that's on the floor. It's not ideal like that though.

I guess it depends on budget but I have a friend who had a small office space and they put a tv on the wall on a bracket, ran a power extension cable up the wall and hidden underneath some custom shelves. Then he had some of the older gen consoles on shelves around the TV bolted to the wall.

Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot

@KALofKRYPTON Yeah I don't like putting anything on directly on top of my consoles especially the Xbox One since there are vents on the top of it.

@FullbringIchigo Yeah that thought crossed my mind as well either that or find some shelving/cabinets online or something

@mookysam It's not that big, about 19 inches or so.

@Rudy_Manchego A friend of mine suggested a similar set up too.

@Tasuki How big is the empty wall? Something custom will work best I think, since you can make the best use of the limited space.

@Tasuki Maybe a cabinet would work? Something like this: https://mobileimages.lowes.com/product/converted/100014/10001...

You could drill some holes for cables in the back; and you can fit at least two consoles on each shelf. If you get a wide cabinet that makes the most use of the empty space between the doors, you could even fit three of them on a single shelf. Doors can be closed when you're not using your consoles to prevent them from gathering too much dust. You can even mount your TV on your wall and use the space on top of the cabinet.
