@ApostateMage you made Drippy in to Windsor Davies! Good work!

So - of the first wave of Totaku, the Feisar ship, Crash and Evan are already out of stock on GAME's website.

All were in stock this morning. May actually grab one on my way home after all...

I picked up a Feisar FX350 Totaku.

Nice little thing. I can see these being pretty popular - I certainly wouldn't mind an AG Systems and/or Quirex version too.

My local GAME had all of the first wave in stock, though only 3 of Crash.

As I expected, they're not up to Amiibo or Disney Infinity quality; Paint applications look decent enough but there's a fair amount of inconsistency. I would think that the WipEout ship suffers most here due to the logo heavy design. I looked at the half dozen or so in stock as best I could and picked the best example.

Glad I didn't buy online and got to look at them.

Anyway, here are some quick shots in package and for scale.

I don't have a ton of gaming tat. I've never owned any collector's editions of games, primarily because they're usually out of my price range, and I'm usually too poor for the ones for games I actually want. I have some assorted gaming merch, but not a ton.

There's some gaming shirts, a Mario shirt from Merchoid, a shirt with the PlayStation buttons running down the side from PlayStation Gear, a black V-neck with Captain Quark's logo from Redbubble, and a Sonic themed shirt from Insert Coin. Also from Insert Coin is an airliner bag designed like the original PlayStation (Probably my favorite). I also own a Keyblade keychain which is hanging on said bag, a full replica Keyblade, and a funko pop figure of Nina Williams from Tekken.

I'd like to expand my collection at some point. Hard to do that when I'm living in a dingy apartment, though.

Not purchased any special editions of games as I think they are one of the biggest waste of money there could be.

All I've got is a couple of Amiibo, some magazine covers I've framed (dark souls 3, Bloodborne and The Last Guardian) and and framed fallout 4 print hanging on my bedroom wall. I've got a couple of gaps which I'm thinking of filling with a couple of canvas prints.

I've also bought the Dark Souls 2 artworks book, which is very cool something I'm very chuffed with.

I made the greatest deal for gaming tat today. My Sister and I alternate weeks when we clean the bathroom. She said if I clean it for the whole month she’ll buy the Persona 5 artbook from GameStop. Which is $40. More than worth it. It’s not that hard to clean it.

@Jaz007 Score! March her to GameStop!

@KALofKRYPTON She already got it. I’m so excited.
Also, so, I’m in the market for a good Joker costume from Persona 5. I’ve been looking around a lot, but does anyone have and places they find a dona really good job or other reccomendations?

@KALofKRYPTON Thanks for posting the pictures of the Totaku model. Nothing mind-blowing, but a fun little bit of desk clutter for the right price.

When I was in GAME last week, they had empty DVD cases with pictures of some on, indicating you could take them to the counter and buy them right away. They had Sonic and Heihachi alongside Crash and the Feisar vessel. For a shop that didn't even have any amiibo, I was surprised to see them, even in the odd way they were being displayed.

Might take another look on Monday, see if they've updated or removed the display. If they're available, I might get a Sonic and a Crash (depending on how many Justice League Funko Mini Mysteries are left in HMV when I go to grudgingly grab The Last Jedi, and subsequently how much I can allow myself to spend on tiny bits of tat).

@RogerRoger
They only released on the 6th - I thought Sonic was in the next wave though.

It's a nice thing. Interestingly, the ladder to the canopy is modelled and painted on one side, but just a decal on the other 🤔

EDIT: Forgot to mention, think these are produced, or at least licensed for production by GameStop/EB Games, I think GAME are affiliated with them - so it makes sense that they would stock them.

Found a couple of bits I had stored.
Got these Shooting Game Historica gashapon.
I have a few more but these are my favourites. I wish I'd carried on collecting the series - some great ships came up - as with most things, they're pretty hard to find at a reasonable price these days.

Anyway, here we have the Vic Viper from Gradius V, a Silver Hawk from the Darius series and The R-9A Arrow Head from R-Type.

@KALofKRYPTON They remind me of my Star Trek and Star Wars Micro Machines... must dig them out at some point, they're around here somewhere...!

First Collectors Edition! Very happy with it!

Couple of dices, 2 drinking glasses, 2 coasters, a pouch, an AWESOME art book and of course the game. £80.
Hope I don't fall into the trap of buying expensive collectors editions now, but I'm pretty chuffed with my purchase.

Also I rang in Yakuza 6 with some (cheap) Sake .

@Fight_Teza_Fight Niiiiice! Generally speaking, anything Special Edition from SEGA is pretty decent.

@RogerRoger They do seem to put a little extra into their Special Editions. The Persona 5 steel book is pretty much my most prized gaming possession.

I tend to end up selling on any gaming tat that I accumulate, but I'll be buried with my Vault Tec bobblehead...

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Fight_Teza_Fight Yes!!! I love the Persona 5 Steel Book. It must have sold terrible, because I got it almost a year after launch at my Wal-mart with a steelbook.

Jaz007

WanderingBullet

@Fight_Teza_Fight Nice! I actually pre-ordered both art and premium editions initially but decided to for former instead after watching the unboxing video for the premium edition. The glasses are quite nice but they're not something I look for in special editions. Another reason was the art book looked like it mainly only consist of fan art.

@Jaz007 The steelbook edition has sold on Amazon for quite sometime ago. Third party sellers are selling it at a premium price (above $100) now.
