@JohnnyShoulder I honestly don’t understand this stuff. In 6 months, there’ll be another breakthrough in the industry and the next card will be on the horizon. £8000! It’s as if they’ve never even heard of Moore’s Law!
@nessisonett It honestly baffles me! I assume these scalpers keep on scalping cos there is a market for it? Just stop paying these ridiculous prices and either the prices will rocket down or they will eventually just find something else to sell on at extortionate prices.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Always remember when Jessica Chobot then from IGN was in one of the Mass Effect games, and depending on what dialogue to chose you get the option of punching her in the face.
CDPR have a 'fake' website for Night City, which has a little history and a guide of the city. It even has pop ups from in game products found in the game.
That's 3 holidays booked for release now missed and I'm not going to try moving anymore. At least this hol can now be for Miles Morales and PS5. While it's a bummer it's delayed I'm glad they're putting quality control above rushing out for sales.
I honestly think it’s a bit of a kick in the teeth to the staff at this point. Being reportedly worked extremely hard and yet still missing several launch targets makes me think that the ones in charge just shouldn’t have dated the game prematurely. Plenty games are a TBA until they’re mostly ready. Look at Metroid Prime 4 and Bayo 3, we don’t know when they’re coming but we can wait because we trust that the product will be quality based on the respective studios’ pedigree. Not a good look.
@Kidfried The goalposts keep changing for the staff as well. If it had released back at the start of the year, then they’d have had the traditional few months of maintenance while working on the PS5 version. Now, due to the delays, they’ve had to simultaneously work on the PS5 version while polishing off the current-gen versions. Throw in a Witcher 3 next-gen upgrade and it seems like they’re swamping their staff with far too much work. Crunch has its place in times of stress but they’ve created a state of perpetual stress for themselves. I just worry about the average employee’s health considering the crazy circumstances.
