Topic: Aspergers Syndrome is a slap to the face

I've had Aspergers for a reasonable amount of time, and luckily enough, I have the second-to-lowest level, but it doesn't change the fact that it makes for people with it to be pretty bad at social interactions and it gives them unbreakable interest in one subject, that they will often talk about all day, all the time. Yet, I do not have many friends at all, because as it says, people with it are pretty bad at social interactions. So, not only does it take a huge chunk out of a valuable part of my childhood, it also makes me interested in one subject, all the time; not only that, but people with it have increased rates of depression and suicide, despite the fact they're already depressed enough by the point they have no friends. The cause is unknown, and there was a man who wrote a song on how his childhood was painfully lonely. And, as it is a form of autism, it makes people weird and stuff, and those with the higher levels of AS can't even live alone; the level also changes over time, meaning I might not be able to post things on Push Square without making an illegitimate or untrue thing in it.

well heck if the one subject you're interested in is video games then you'll find plenty of people here to talk to. Just keep pursuing your interests and have fun with life. try not to let people get you down because lots of people can be pretty lame, and from what I hear kids keep getting meaner, and then negativity spreads like the plague. People gravitate towards positivity so just enjoy yourself and eventually you'll find some not lame people that have the same interests.

While you're more than welcome to interact with us here at Push Square -- we're a pretty friendly bunch, haha -- this sort of thing belongs in your personal blog. There are several fine websites available providing free blogs/webspace so that you can get your feelings about your situation out however you like -- LiveJournal, Dreamwidth, Blogger, Tumblr, and Wordpress are just a few sites offering free accounts. When you've got an account set up, you're more than welcome to add a link to your signature or profile inviting people to come and check you out, share stories and perhaps comment on your own entries. Give it a try! :3
