@Th3solution Yeah, can't wait for tomorrow! I didn't read the full review, only the conclusion and that + the current metacritic score makes it look like a solid winner in my book
I ordered Clair Obscur after the reviews, and seeing it’s only £39.99 on Amazon. Interested in Oblivion too but that can wait. First Playstation game I have bought at launch in a year or two..!
@Ravix Don't take my word for it but I think it's exclusive to Direct if it's available in your region, local retailers otherwise.
I'm where there is no Direct so it's always been multiple retailers instead.
@Voltan cheers. I'll definitely check Direct as my first port of call. I've ordered stuff from there before so it should be no issue. I was hoping it'd be up on Amazon already today so I could sneak a quick order in on the app.
Starting May 2 at 10:00 AM ET in the U.S., and 10:00 AM local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, players will be able to pre-order the Ghost of Yōtei exclusively through direct.playstation.com in limited quantities. Must be signed-in to purchase.
I don't think it's supposed to be available anywhere before that
@Voltan yeah, it was just blind hope today that it would go live as soon as announced. May 2nd was what I'd heard afterwards, so good to see it's official. I'll pop it in the calendar 😁
Is it one you're interesting in grabbing as well?

@Kairuuu I predict it’s going to be a surprise hit. In a weaker year it might have even been a GOTY contender, from the sounds of it. But this year is pretty stacked.
Either way, what a great first impression from reviewers. Like I mentioned, I don’t know if I can shift my immediate plans too much but I definitely want to play it, so I might purchase it just to show my support. I’m a big advocate for quality indie and AA games, especially when they do something really unique and fill a void in the industry that the AAA developers are ignoring. So although I’ve tried to purchase fewer games that go directly to the backlog, there’s some exceptions and I plan to pick Clair Obscur up. It’s also a good one to have in the backlog library to fill an appetite for turn-based when the mood hits. Most of my backlog games and future planned purchases are action games but every now and then it’s good to have something turn-based. And as much as I liked Persona 4 and 5, I’m not itching to go back into that universe anytime soon.

Is the Collector's Edition tempting you too, yeah? I feel like I need that mask, and the fact it's confirmed a digital code is actually better. And I'm pretty excited to back GoY day one, as Ghost of Tsushima is one I played via PS Plus, I think.
@JohnnyShoulder 6 months to do Iki, no problem. It might be about a 2 week DLC, something like that. What games do you have on the go at the moment/lined up?

@Ravix I'm currently very close to finishing Lords of the Fallen, so will want to play a few smaller games before getting into Iki. But yeah 6 months is plenty of time to play Iki with enough distance to Yōtei.

I just bought Oblivion Remastered for my PS5 Pro. I played the OG Oblivion on PS3, 360, and PC. It’s so nice to relive it all over again with new graphics!
So I got Middle-earth: *Shadow of Mordor on the PSN sale yesterday . Dont know much about it. And dont want to either (not for some time at least). But I got a feeling that it could be something good ....
