@Kraven cheers! I do think I might need to talk to some npcs now. I did the whole dungeon, collected everything, found an interesting letter from a necromancer about someone I hope we will meet at some point 🤷♂️ and by the time I'd got out (thank you for leaving your key out random dead guy who attacked me first, because I can't pick locks that hard yet) I realised a day had passed and it had been quite lonely in there. But I could sleep in the dead bandits bed before heading to whichever location I choose next to actually see some civilised people who don't attack on site! And it was also then I realised I already had multiple levels stacked up, so i'm going to leave it at just the one upgrade until I've decided what i'm actually doing.
To me, heading into the city where we were mysteriously imprisoned is either very stupid (we must have enemies there) or very smart (i'll get to the bottom of what happened) so i'm not sure exactly which direction to take that yet. A personal investigation/casual vendetta would probably suit the character as a good reason to head in to the city, but maybe the Emperor's words intrigued him enough to head to where was suggested 🤔 I'll leave it cooking in the back of my mind and see what I come up with next time I play haha.
Seems to be a classic RPG in that way where you have to kind of have to leave it running in your mind when you're not even playing it to unpack everything you're doing or planning to do 😁
@Ravix One tip I can give you from when I played Oblivion on the 360 - try not to get infected with vampirism, at least not fully. The quest you have to do to find the ingredients is total pain in the wotsits, and I almost gave up.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@JohnnyShoulder My god, yes. I forgot all about it from the 360 version nearly 20 years ago. And then I contracted it in my latest playthrough and was losing my mind, but I managed to complete the quest and get a cure. It was a fun quest line, just annoying as hell.
Making decent progress in Sekiro again, at last, after a break. Still on the final boss, got 3/4 of his health off in the second phase of three. Still strategising. Improving, working towards the end goal. Of seeing those 'final' credits!

Playing the Iki island dlc for Ghost of Tsushima. Although I am enjoying it, I'm not loving like I was with the main game. I'm now unsure about pre-ordering Yotei, but I will see how I feel nearer the time.

After my 2nd play through in Stellar Blade and getting the plat. I decided to start Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. I really enjoyed the original back in 2017 and the remaster is actually better than I expected. I'm not sure if I'll finish it since I platinumed the original but we'll see about that.
I replayed chapters 1 & 2 and am at the end of chapter 3.
... I'm foolishly trying to beat the secret boss. (Or rather, I did the secret route to unlock an item that gives you a chance at the unwinnable boss fight that's at the end of the chapter). My god is this fight handing my arse to me or what?!
This is easily the toughest fight I've dealt with so far. Jevil and Spamton were nothing compared to this. I've got close-ish (I think) but... Urgh it's rough.
I have the day off work so I’ve been chipping away at the Oblivion platinum. I just finished the Mages guild. All that I have left is the Dark Brotherhood quest line and the main story and I’ll have the platinum. My goal is to have it done by the end of this week so I can start Death Stranding 2.
@HallowMoonshadow Do let me know how ''complete'' it feels so far once you finish chapter 4! I enjoyed Undertale back in the day and I'd love to get back into that world, but I'm cautious about starting this follow-up before all chapters are out. If the first half already feels like a satisfying arc, maybe I won't have to be so fearful of it feeling unsatisfying without the remaining chapters.
I have officially completed all guild quests and trophies in Oblivion. I’m now going to bee-line the main quest and get the platinum. It should be completed by the end of today. I’ll probably put it to the side for a bit — Death Stranding 2 is on my cross media bar ready to play — and then come back to it and do side quests and the Shivering Isles DLC.
Do you know anything about Deltarune and how it plays out @Tjuz? I don't wanna spoil anything for ya when I properly yap after beating chapter 4 (And boy will I yap!)
All I'll say for now is that I personally think Undertale is rather overhyped and find Deltarune to be a much more interesting title myself.
Deltarune has also already ran for a good 20 hours for me (With my PS5 saying it's actually been over 30 thanks to all the retries on that one that fight along with other things)

@Jimmer-jammer nice dude. I’m fighting the urge to crack it open and give it a go tbh. I hardly ever suffer from FOMO… but I’m sure as 💩 feeling it rn. I have a couple of weeks free in September and am doing all I can to hold on until then to start it.
There are a lot of returning characters from Undertale and some previous knowledge certainly wouldn't hurt ...
But Deltarune's an alternate universe/story so you don't actually need to know them as the game mainly focuses on a new cast, in a new setting so a lot of details regarding returning characters are quite different.
At least at the moment. There's still at least 3 chapters that need to be made so... Who knows what'll happen?

Decided after a number of failed attempts to apply the strategy I applied to Genichiro to Isshin Ashina. Hopefully that will work out. Plus implementing the Mortal Blade at certain key points. Hope I succeed soon!
Edit: Played it again this morning, think I've found a viable strategy for Isshin.
Edit II: Almost got that second phase down, think I've come up with an EVEN BETTER strategy now.
