@JohnnyShoulder
I think I’ve beaten the Bunny Bros (Black rabbit brotherhood?) and the King of Puppets. A few boss fights you think wow that was easy only to find stage two.
I’m using the Holy sword of something atm, it is a great sword which isn’t usually my style as I prefer faster weapons but I needed something with decent damage output and that was the only sword in my bag that was good enough, the electic coil served very well and is still useful when a faster weapon is required especially when I’m chasing butterflies whilst surrounded by enemies.
I’m finding the difficulty okay but then I am playing on Easy, I think if I was playing on a higher difficulty then the Holy sword would be a problem with the faster enemies....but it does have great block damage reduction.
Also has anyone noticed (I’m sure you have) that extra Pulse charges are hidden in the list of Node improvement option lists (the lists that contain things like “More Atk when out of Pulse charges” etc..) ?
Finally started Aliens: Fireteam Elite today, after initially intending to play it back at the start of the year. I’d imagine it’s probably a little boring solo but was a good time in co-op. Cheers to @CaptD for showing me the ropes… probably saved me 10’s of hours in regards to that plat-pursuit! 🍻
@Bentleyma thanks for bringing Echoes of the End to my attention. I’ve marked it in the wishlist to keep an eye on. It does appear to have some jank, but I really enjoy the AA efforts and this one looks like it might be alright. Maybe like A Plague Tale in the sense of lower budget attempts at the Sony action cinematic formula.
But I still have a couple more of the actual Sony action adventure games to play yet so I’ll put it on the back burner. I need to play God of War Ragnarok before “Girl of War” which I saw some people calling this one. 😅

I started Shinobi: Art of Vengeance this morning. The reviews are right - this game is incredible. Honestly, while different in many ways, I’d have to say it’s better than Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, which says a lot because I love that game and got the platinum for it.
I'm currently at 210 attack power with my Uchi+3 in Elden Ring, aiming to get it up towards the 600 mark as my playthrough continues, got Str up to 18, min requirements for the Nagakiba I intend to obtain, attained, then gonna get Dex from 71 up to 80 and then level Vigor to 40 before going for the materials for a +6 Uchi upgrade and then gonna go for the Nagakiba.

@Mikeg1965 Definitely, haven't played the DLC yet, but played through the vanilla game beforehand with a Strength build, now going for a Dex-based Sekiro build for most of the game before I access the DLC, (with the same Sekiro 'Wolf' build) which I hear is basically Big Dark Souls 4! Really looking forward to it. Just out of interest, have you played Sekiro or any of the Dark Souls games yet?

I actually played Elden Ring, Demon Souls Remastered and Dark Souls 1-3 and their respective DLC back-to-back and finished Dark Souls 3 last weekend. I just started playing Sekiro last Sunday.
I'm still in the tutorial stages with Sekiro.
@Mikeg1965 Oh, excellent! I still intend to play through Dark Souls 3 again, and play the DLC next year. I hope you post about your progress in Sekiro as I would be interested in seeing how you get on with it after playing thru the Souls games and their DLCs, obvs I'm sure that you have already been told that it's an action-adventure game, rather than being Souls or Souls-like in nature. But ,yeah I hope that it is an enjoyable and rewarding experience for you, as it certainly was for me.
Are you interested in any swords/samurai-based manga/anime stuff like Vagabond or the Kurosawa or Zatoichi films? Or Lone Wolf & Cub for instance? Some of those may take your fancy if Sekiro gels with you.

So far, Sekiro seems more "forgiving" than the previous games Fromsoft put out.
Definitely into the Lone Wolf and Cub (Shogun Assassin) Series it's great! As far as Anime, I'm a big fan of Ninja Scrolls, Berserk, Baki & Hokuto No Ken.
So I played the Sonic Racing Crossworlds beta over the past few days and really quite enjoyed it.
I do hope Joker isn't the one and only Atlus inclusion cus I'm sick to the backteeth of anything P5 related like it's the only game they have.
But rambling aside it Sonic Crossworlds was just good fun.
Played it both offline (Played the one grand prix cup a few times with different characters) and did the online Persona 5 festival event.
I like the rival mechanic in the grand prix mode... Making one CPU out of the cast a bit more challenging and giving them specific banter with you.
Kinda wished at the start of every race they had something to say rather then just at the start and end of the cup.
But the banter is pretty good and unique for every pairing. Omega the robot has some amazing lines if he's your rival, especially one particularly brutal line to Eggman where he says he'll bury the metaphorical hatchet... Into Eggman's "metaphorical" skull.
The online festival mode was fine too. You were put into 3 teams of 4 and had to do specific tasks whilst racing every half hour. Tapping your team members the most, collecting the most rings & doing the most tricks.
The tasks only gave a 10 point bonus to the team that won so if the race was particularly close between the teams it could help you clinch it and be number one overall or give you a runaway lead.
It did get a bit chaotic and included a number tracks that weren't in the offline mode so I did have to learn 5/6 tracks more on the fly.
Overall it was pretty good. I won't purchase it straight away but... I'll definitely keep my eye on it.
So now I am about halfway towards completing my build for ELDEN RING and ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. I have Dex at 80 and am doing about 215 damage with my Uchi+3, gonna level that up further then get the Nagakiba, after I have obtained the appropriate upgrade materials for the Uchi, then gonna level Vigor to 60 and End to 20, after that, stat-wise, my build will be complete.
Edit: I beat the Crystalian miniboss in Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel this morning, and with the acquired materials I have upgraded my Uchi to +6 and am now doing 258 damage with it, working towards an op build but have to focus on Vig and End next before taking on Margit!
