@Kairuuu answers are boring, what you need is even more questions ๐Ÿ˜‰ and I'm sure it will... deliver ๐Ÿ‘

@Ravix It's Kojima. I'm expecting plenty more questions and answers in which they themselves are also questions.

Terrible pun, btw. ๐Ÿ˜‚

@Kairuuu Yeah I think that is what killed it for me was the BT encounters. Apparently I was quite near when it gets a bit better, chapter 3 I think.

@JohnnyShoulder I encountered a few last night. It had me stressing out a bit. I thought I navigated them quite well and I was safe but nope! ๐Ÿ˜‚

@Kairuuu Glad youโ€™re at least having your interest piqued. That bodes well going forward.

I looked back at my trophy list out of curiosity and it made me remember that Death Stranding was my main COVID pandemic game in the early days of the shut down, early 2020. Along with Jedi Fallen Order and AC Origins. But definitely the timing of playing Death Stranding in the spring of 2020 hit hard, as I recall how ironic (or prophetic?) it was to be playing a game where everyone was shut-in and isolated from one another and relying on deliveries. It really felt true to life in those days where we couldnโ€™t see anyone and the streets were abandoned with everyone holed up in their homes. Crazy how Kojima can be so topical in his content.

@Kairuuu I think the grenades you can craft when you poop ๐Ÿ˜‚ are quite handy, once you have the blueprints for the more advanced ones.

I was quite happy zooming round on my newly crafted motor bike, when I got stopped in my tracks by the BT's and my bike got destroyed. ๐Ÿคฌ

@JohnnyShoulder sounds like you wanted to ride it around the BTs and not through them (or check those weather reports beforehand) ๐Ÿ˜

Ah, some of my favourite moments are when you get caught, kind of, maybe, and in a way it's easier to get past areas when it's just the main monster things, and, rather than slowly creeping around, you get to run around shooting and escaping which can be less stressful and way faster. If I'm remembering right.

Keep at it @Kairuuu it will no doubt reward you. It must do, tbh, as I know I completed it fairly easily, and I'm shockingly bad at any 'horror' aspects in games

Iโ€™m pretty deep in the end game in Clair Obscur. Iโ€™ve finished all Nevron quests, found all of the lost gestrals, maxed out all relationships with my party members, and have all combat oriented trophies. My goal now is to attempt to finish the Endless Towrr, and reach level 99.

Okay, so after finishing the ps2 game Mafia, which was remade for PS4, I decided to try Mafia 2 the PS3 game, slightly upgraded for ps4 and that looks worse than Mafia 1, but I'm playing it on PS5 Pro, so who knows what thread to put it in. But here's my thoughts, regardless ๐Ÿ˜›

Having said that, and despite it not being a full remake, I feel like I'm already loving the atmosphere and tone of Mafia 2 much more. The dialogue has become even more natural and dynamic, and the characters are feeling pretty realistic early doors. There is something about PS3 era games, it has to be said, too. And I'm definitely feeling some GTA 4 nostalgia vibes with the faux NY setting here.

All in all, I enjoyed Mafia I, but it definitely had some old game reskinned issues, so Mafia 2 still feels like a leap forward in quality and design, even though it's much rougher around the edges without a full remake, and the controls and strafing style movement took a while to get used to.

By Mafia 2 you can kind of feel some early ideas forming for the kind of realism that would become KCD when Vavra, and I assume some of the dev talent from 2k Czech moved over to Warhorse. You can turn on light switches and fans, for example. I don't know if it has any uses yet, but it makes the world feel more real even with these silly little details. I believe in Mafia I at one point you could ignore a checkpoint to do what was hinted at rather than the actual objective too, so I hope that continues in Mafia II.

Good stuff. More crime games please, devs. And let's hope Mafia: The Old Country has some of this old 2k charm in it this summer!

Just a little note for KCDII players, the recent patch made everything flash/vanish/materialise but there is a new one (released yesterday) that stops everything flashing and the game looks beautiful again.

It might be time to play the Brushes with Death DLC soon ๐Ÿ˜

Iโ€™ve been playing DOOM: The Dark Ages. Iโ€™m five chapters in and itโ€™s been fun, albeit some things donโ€™t click with me. I really donโ€™t like the flying dragon sections, but thankfully those are few and far between according to what Iโ€™ve read. The mech suits are pretty fun though.

@HallowMoonshadow I think that's about where I cut out. Yeah, it's a slog. I may return if there's a Switch 2 patch, but considering it's an older game from a small publisher, I'm not holding out hope.

Shinigami is definitely polarizing, although that bugged me less. Kodaka's games are full of extreme personalities, so I didn't mind her. Honestly, she's more memorable than the rest of the cast. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Back on the Zenless Zone Zero grind before Season Two commences. I haven't played it in months so I've got a lot of catching up to do before then. I've been enjoying it a lot and I'm a little surprised at myself for dropping it when I did.

Playing Dead Space Remake. Love it. I think this is one of the only times that I've playing the remake when i've completed the original game. Made an expection for this as it is one of my favourite games and has been long enough since I've played the original. Some brillaint sound design, and not for the faint of heart lol.

@BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN I really enjoyed it. Not as much as top tier FromSoftware, and apart from a couple of bosses not as difficult as those games either. The layout of the world and the Umbral world stuff was my favourite parts of the game.

@Hapless Enjoy it, man! Phenomenal game, and definitely worth getting the platinum for. Probably in my top 5 games this generation.

Iโ€™m now in the 13th chapter in Doom: The Dark Ages with a 100% completion rate for each mission. This game freaking rules. I didnโ€™t like the first three chapters, but once things started to open up - the world, weapons, upgrades - it felt like it hit its confidence and hasnโ€™t let up. Itโ€™s so good.

@Jimmer-jammer How are you man? What are you playing at the moment? Been a while since we've spoken.

I booted up Sekiro this morning, still pushing for that 'Shura' ending with Emma/Isshin Ashina as the final boss, I assume you went for Sword Saint Isshin as your final boss? after reading about your struggles on here, I decided to go with the option, of which, the internet consensus, is saying, is the easiest. I am strategising, heavily, looking for weaknesses, opportune moments to strike etc. but yeah the Mortal Blade is definitely op, so that helps a lot!
