Apparently there was a leaked new trailer showcasing boss fights uploaded to Vimeo today (now deleted). We might be seeing that on official channels soon.
I'm not sure I wanna watch it now that I have the game pre-ordered but at the same time I'm curious
@Voltan I’ve got a good feeling about this game too. The aesthetic looks just my kind of thing, there looks like a dark psychological aspect which I like and it looks really playable. I won’t be buying it at release as I just have to many games on my plate as it is... but I’m sure it’ll be on my playlist for some point down the road.
Gotta feeling that this might be the undeniable ‘W’ that the general public feel Sony have been crying out for.
It's on official YouTube now as well... I figured they wouldn't give too much away so I watched it and it looks cool. The fights will be a lot of fun I'm sure.

@Feena Same! I honestly wanna show big support to Housemarque, they were the ones to really put my eyes on indie games during PS3 era with Super Stardust. Before them I never really considered the differences between the scale of games made. That then opened my eyes to a new genre of games, after them I found Fat Princess, Mushroom Wars, Shank, etc. That then turned into Resogun, Celeste, Hollow Knight, Ori, etc. Housemarque established my personal love for indies, so I'm looking forward to their first AAA release. The main thing I'm looking forward to is the Dualsense implementation.
@kyleforrester87 I liked Automata but I remember hating the first Nier on Ps3 (well, the music was lovely...) so I am waiting for some reviews and users impressions
@Voltan@Feena@TraCuz- Yeah, buddy — preorder done! I went for the physical disc. I just hope I don’t forget to pick it up from the store on release day. I haven’t preordered a physical release since.... Spider-Man, I guess.
@Kidfried Totally agree that this game is likely being undersold and I feel like it will be a critical darling of 2021.

@TraCuz- yeah, i work that day too, so I’ll be a little late to the party as well. Thankfully I have the whole weekend after that.
But yeah, as much as I am slowly converting to the convenience of digital, I like the option of having the disc to sell if for some reason I end up not liking it. PS5 game discs are holding their value a lot right now. My local GameStop has almost no second hand PS5 games and I think the second hand market will be a seller’s market for a while. ...of course I fully expect to adore the game and with its potential replayability I predict it’ll be one I keep forever in my collection.
And yes, my Returnal hype inspired me to change my profile pic. Mimir is great, but it’s time to show Selene some love. 😄

@Th3solution Yeah I honestly think Returnal is gonna exceed expectations, and that's an interesting bit on physical merch. I can say the main things I'm looking forward to is the gun customization, dualsense features, and 3d audio. I'm keeping my expectations for the story low. That way if it's bad I'm not too disappointed, and if it's a good I can be a little blown away.
You have any predictions for review scores? I feel like it's gonna sit in the high 80s, 85-88.
