Same, I was far from being sure when they first showed it but it was growing on me with every other bit they've shown and now I'm definitely getting it.

I'm looking forward to this as it's built for the PS5 hardware so we should see some nice effects and fast load times and hopefully interesting use of the haptics in the controller. Fingers crossed for decent reviews???

I actually took a little one-weekend side job that will pay for this and Ratchet so I don't care about the price either

@velio84 I'll need to google to confirm but I think you can buy a "deluxe upgrade" to get the bonuses with a physical version. I know it's like that for Ratchet and I think it's the same for Returnal.

I haven't play any Housemarque games before, but I got super hyped by the first trailer of Returnal and I'm waiting for the game ever since. I watched only the first (or first two) trailers and try to avoid any spoilers until the release.

I also pre-ordered the game. I only hope the game will be optimized on launch and not having a lot of bugs.

3D AA(A?) rogue-lite as a lot of potential. After so many good indie rogue-lites I was wondering when AA / AAA studios would try to make one. Seems Housemarque wanted to try.

@Voltan I’m probably going to pre-order, mostly because I gotta put my money where my mouth is now - I’ve been openly on board with the $70 price tags for next gen (well... actually current gen) games so I better belly-up-to-the-bar and pay up since I no longer have an excuse of not owning a PS5. Sony blessed me with a rare console, so I need to buy some games. Cyberpunk did teach us some hard lessons about the risk of pre-order, but Housemarque and Sony have been really open with gameplay footage and developer diaries and information updates for the last few months, so I highly doubt there will be major issues with the game on day 1. Might as well get the two free alternate outfits offered as a pre-order bonus if I’m going to buy it within the first few weeks anyways.

@velio84 I honestly feel very good about this game. And I was in the "uhm, I don't know" crowd when they first revealed it.

Also it's entirely possible that they're already playing it, since it's gone gold a while ago.

It seems to have a sort-of Control vibe to it.

@Spaldy The narrative designer worked on some Remedy games too, including Control - so that makes sense.
