So much for taking a break, eh?

Haha! Well, I couldn’t help myself. And when you mentioned that it took you some time to get your rhythm back if you took more than a couple days off then I decided to at least keep the skills sharp with a short run or two.

@Th3solution I know the feeling! I think I've said I'm done with the game a few times now only to go back a couple of days later. 😆

Although the hotter weather in the UK at the mo has kinda force my (sweaty) hand, and putting me off from playing it currently.

@JohnnyShoulder what proportion of homes or flats in the UK have central cooling and heating? It seems like it gets hot enough to warrant it.

@Th3solution Central heating is pretty much standard. Cooling or A/C pretty much non-existent outside of workplaces!

@Th3solution I don't think the UK has enough hot weather throughout the year to warrant A/C in most households. This is probably the first of the hot weather we've had this year. Sure, we've had warm weather, but not this hot and the first couple of weeks this month were crap.

Like the others said, AC at homes is pretty much only a thing in the south of Europe, where it's hot most of the time.

@JohnnyShoulder Nice — I’ve not touched it in several days. Not because I don’t want to, but everytime I sit down to play, something distracts me. Happened last night again. I literally had my finger on the PS5 button to turn the machine on and my phone rang. 39 minutes later, the moment was gone and I missed my window.

Good luck on the last glyph!

@Th3solution Cheers! I has some awful runs before too and was my last one of the night. I'm blaming the new glasses I've got lol.

Mega-Gazz

Does anyone know if there are actually plans to add a save feature? I can’t rely on suspend and can’t always play for hours on end…but the game is on sale and would buy it if not for that.

Mega-Gazz

@Mega-Gazz Not that I’ve heard. This seems to be the hill that they’re willing to die on…. despite games like Enter the Gungeon having the ability to suspend after each floor and Dark Souls saving without the ability to save scum.

Even Nethack had a save feature. I feel like installing Rogue just to prove that it had one too.

Housemarque did say they were looking into it but that was not long after release and its gone quiet. I'm another who is refusing to get it without one

@JohnnyShoulder congrats!! I've moved on , I got 2 surveys done, and realized that I was never going to be able to finish all of them. Loved the time that I had with it, will come back in a month or two, but for now, I'm taking a break.

@JohnnyShoulder wahoo! Good work. Now take a much needed break to prep for Hades.

@Just_2_milky @Th3solution Cheers guys! Yeah I almost gave up a few times myself, and most other games I probably would have not bothered. But it feels so good to play I couldn't keep away. I was still enjoying it for the main and wouldn't keep playing otherwise as I don't feel it is worth souring my overall experience just to get a platinum.

I doubt I'll be getting Hades at launch Sol, but will get to it eventually when the mood strikes me.

@JohnnyShoulder Hey well done 👍. I still remember how good it was to get the platinum. It’s an awesome one to add to the collection.
