@nessisonett I've got an image of this year's John Lewis Christmas ad just being CCTV footage of you going mental through the store, smashing everything up with a rake to the tune of 'Somewhere Only We Know '
Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
@Octane yeah well been saving up for this launch for 2 years now so went a bit more extreme than usual lol!
Best thing about GOW on the PS5 is that the machine is damn near silent running it vs on the pro/slim. When I was playing through the first time the ps4 got so loud and I got so worried about it I would put the ps4 on a small table outside of the entertainment stand so it could breathe. Was really the only game I personally found that made it sound like a jet engine!
@Gremio108 To be fair, you could probably find plenty makeshift weapons in John Lewis. Rakes, scythes, kitchen knives and stuff. I know where I’m going in a zombie apocalypse.
So -
ps4 Pro: Claptrap dances across the screen 3 1/2 times while loading the game.
Ps5: Claptrap dances across the screen 1 full time while loading the game.
Ghosts of Tsushima update 1.16 will not install. It downloads, then when installing coughs up an error and says, “Error, Cannot Install”. Tried restoring my licenses and rebooting the console... nothing.
It’s like the PS5 doesn’t know what to do with updates for PS4 games on external storage.
edit
Moved game to internal storage. Disconnected external SSD. Rebooted. Update installed. Plugged in external drive again. Moving game back to external SSD now that it’s updated. Try this if you encounter the CE-107857-8 error
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
So Wal-Mart got a restock today. I actually got one step further today — got the PS5 into my cart, loaded my mailing address, and was authorizing the payment when it kicked me out and then finally came back with the “out of stock” messaging. The whole thing went on for 10 minutes, fighting the reload sequence to get to that point, which is further than I got on launch day. I’m strangely optimistic now. If they restock weekly, then I’m probably only 2-3 weeks away from actually completing the transaction.
The only problem is that when I return to the Wal-Mart website now, the PS5 doesn’t even come up anymore on the site. It appears to have been removed in it’s entirety from any existence in their virtual storefront, whereas previously you could search and at least bring up an image and it said “out of stock.”
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
@Th3solution I’d assume removing the page is to cut down on traffic coming from Google. If there’s no PS5 page, it won’t appear in searches and less traffic will flow to the site looking to purchase an out of stock PS5.
